  1. Using them as indicators looks far better than I thought it would, but using them as DRLs or keeping them on with dipped beam...
  2. Trouble is that most of those cars are just Standard ones, i.e. ones with no interior. Look at how many Premium ones there actually are and that's the number of cars you'll actually be able to use (assuming you're not a complete girl and drive with the exterior view ). So many of them are just doubled up for no reason whatsoever other than to give the game a big number to show off with. At least in Forza every car was equal, regardless of standing.
  3. This entire thread reminds me exactly why I never scrimp on tyres. They're the only thing keeping you in contact with the road, after all. 452 are sh*t T1R are sh*t VUS are good PS2 are amazing RE050A are amazing Depends on how much you want to end up in a ditch, really. That said, even the greatest of tyres or 4WD won't make up for ham-fisted control of a car in bad conditions. If it's that slippy, then just don't drive!
  4. Bedford is a good track to drive, bit flat and uneventful but there's some lovely technical corners there to play with. I've done loads of days there now and the driving standard is always high, although be aware of the low drive-by noise limit: If you're car is loud, then there's a good chance you'll fail and it's bye-bye Airfield days are terrible for stone chips and tyre wear, track days are not. No need to worry on that front.
  5. Nexens??!! I didn't realise you hated your car that much Second photo jars on the eyes, but in that weird artistic way that I really like. Nice shot!
  6. I've got a 55" Sammy S7 LED and I love it, but go and look at the telly before you buy it. Places like Comet and Currys are brilliant for stuff like this, just go in really early on a Saturday or a boring Wednesday afternoon and take your favourite BD with you, and then get them to set the player up on various TVs until you find one that works for you. I took Independence Day (lots of blacks and I love the film!) and my Xbox with Forza as well to test for gaming images.
  7. Except the sound. Turbine engines don't sound like a V12. No-one buys a sports car because it's got super-high MPG or because it gets around the congestion charge, they buy them because THEY GIVE YOU BALLS.
  8. Tyre pressures are based on what make and model of tyre you're running, not the size. So what tyres are you running?
  9. Umm, ask them tomorrow? Crazy idea, I know, but it just might work!
  10. Bin it and go LED, you'll never look back.
  11. Surely Aston do a module for BT for the DB9?
  12. For me, this represents just why the game has become Top Trumps rather than a driving simulator, and probably why it's taken so bloody long too. Do we really need both EU and US versions of the 350Z? What on earth is the point of that? Look at how many S2000s there are as well! Instead of spending their money 'developing' all these duplicate cars (only a fraction of which are going to have in car full dash views, including only ONE of the above Zeds) perhaps they should've been giving other manufacturers cash to allow them to put their cars in the game (how many years in and we still don't have Porsche in there?!). Or even maybe putting some more tracks in the game? Will it be good? Well yeah, I'm sure it will, just like CoD games are always of a certain standard. Will it be the game we all wanted it to be? I doubt it, just like CoD games are.
  13. Can't see them making another one at this rate, it's hardly like people are breaking down Nissan dealer's doors to buy the current one. Shame really.

You'll still go quicker with decent tyres. Even more so with driver training.
  15. Black. Deffo.

    OMFG!

You're all wrong. That car is more manly than Burt Reynold's moustache. It would kick Van Damme in the balls, punch Chuck Norris in the face and spit on Jet-Li while it walked away with his missus. Sometimes, just being so freakin' MANLY can make a car awesome. None of you like it because you're all too pussy to be been with it

2 x trackdays with Caterham hire with BaT. Or a whole day's training with Walshy at North Weald. If you must spend on the Zed, then a set of MPS2 tyres will give you more improvement than anything. Unless you're spending a small fortune on 19" wheels they're going to be heavy and make your car slower.
  18. Go to Ariotek Buy webspace and domain name from them Design website elsewhere either via code or WYSIWYG editor Upload Done Great hosting, good prices, I've been with them for a few years now from when they used to be called Fuzioned and they were who I got recommended to me.
  19. Nice one, cheers fella
  20. You'll get very close to £3.5K with a bit of a haggle, for another £200 on top it's so worth it.
  21. Does it need to be fun? If so then a Clio 182, and if not then a Focus.
  22. Correct. Don't just go with what other people tell you though: If you feel, for example, that a 36F and 38R mix works well for your driving then go with that. Nothing wrong with having the pressures higher at the fronts if you want a little more understeer too, just have a play and stick with whatever you feel is comfortable.
  23. Start with +2psi on stock, but expect to run about +4psi to get rid of the slop.
  24. Tyre pressure isn't dictated by wheel size, it's done by what tyre you're running. Hard sidewalls need less pressure, soft sidewalls need more. What tyres are you running?
