  1. You have the DE revup engine then.
  2. You can never have too much power!!!!11 *buys two*
  3. The Daily Fail ran with the same story too I believe, relating it to those three kids that died the other day whilst out on a joyride in a Civic. Sensationalist nonsense, not worth giving it the column inches IMHO.
  4. What engine? The HR engine makes significantly more gearbox whine than the DE in my experience.
  5. Then how do you know it all? Where's any of the detail in what you're saying? I've given you links to where I'm getting my info from, where anyone can look it over and have their say on it. All you seem to be providing in return is Daily Mail-style rhetoric. Like I said, if what you're saying is true then I support you, but you really need to start providing some kind of evidence here. Given that they're not actually planning to sell every last bit off for car parking (which of course you'd know if you read the publicly accessible data), then the scare tactics are a tad disappointing.
  6. Ooh, one letter out, I was close!
  7. The Admiral group have dropped their premiums by a considerable amount recently, and I'm assuming that's because everyone has put theirs up so they'll take a loss on the first year on the gamble of repeat business by people too lazy to shop around. Pretty clever idea if you ask me, and it's certainly paying off as even I switched to them as of tomorrow because no-one else could get anywhere close to them on price.
  8. I would imagine they have either the word runflat on them, or RF, or similar.

    Hankook Tyres

RS2s are very good, wouldn't bother with anything else in their range though really.

    first service

Yup, take it wherever you want. Just remember that the sales and service departments are separate and while you've found the sales side to be rubbish (why did you buy from them if it was that bad?), the service guys could be brilliant. Just a thought.
  11. They do make an 050A run flat though, so just be aware when you order them
  12. If it's colder than that just run the heater for a few mins to warm it up a touch. I never had any issues lowering the roof on the 350 in temps much lower than that
  13. Told you it was good It really does make such a difference to the car, I'm still surprised that so few people have gone this route. Utter bargain for the effects you get.
  14. Running the same size tyres all round won't dial out understeer, you'll just get massive oversteer as you'll have shifted the balance too far to the front. Drop the front tyre pressures a couple of psi (what tyres are you running, and what pressures?), and get some adjustable A-arms on the front along with some camber arms on the rear so you can set the suspension up more aggressively first. That's the correct way to get rid of understeer, adding massive tire widths at the front is only going to cause a very unbalanced car which will in turn reduce your track times.
  15. Very nice, get that up on the wall!
  16. Happy birthday John, hope you have a good day fella! I always thought you were much older than 25 though...
  17. Surely it comes down to one very simple question: Do you want to take the roof down or not? If yes, then get the ragtop. If not, then get the coupe. Everything else can be changed (or if you want the HR engine just buy a later car), so that's the only question you need to answer.

    New Micra

Still one of the worst looking cars on sale today. Utterly vile, why anyone would buy that when you look at it's rivals I've no idea. I had one as a courtesy car a few years back, and it was the single worst driving experience of my life. Turgid little buggers.
  19. Correct. Any competent garage will be fine
  20. To be fair, it could've been that person's first day at work and they might not come from a car background, so wanted to make sure they got everything right for you. Not everyone knows everything about cars, for some people it's just a job. If the work is fairly priced and the person actually carrying out the work knows what they're doing, then who cares if the person on the phone knows chuff all?

    new pagani

Fugly and turbocharged Still, it now makes the Zonda more of a classic than ever. That F above is pure sex
  22. To keep the balance correct between front and rear grip. Surely you've noticed that the car is somewhat oversteery?!
