  1. Is Button a good driver? Clearly. Did McLaren finally make the right call strategy-wise and it really paid off for them? Undoubtedly. Is Lewis still the most exciting driver to watch simply because you have no idea if he'll be genius or mental? Oh god yes.
  2. It cuts the spark rather than reduce power or brake certain wheels, hence why it feels so sharp. Tbh (and this is directed at no-one in particular) if the electronics are cutting in on you all the time then you're driving the car wrong. If you're smooth then it simply doesn't cut in at all.
  3. Yeah, they were advertising it all the way through the race when the ads popped up on Eurosport. Looks like the Signatech car came in 2nd in LMP2 and 9th overall, not sure how much of the driving Lucas did though.
  4. If you want it then do it, life's too short to worrying about it
  5. Holy frickin' crap I feel terrible this morning
  6. ARGH MY HEAD HURTS SO BADLY 24 hrs of race + 24 hours of beer & vodka & red bull = monster hangover
  7. http://www.bp.com/sectiongenericarticle ... Id=7060376 Nope, I guess I was right the first time.
  8. Thought they stopped doing the 102? Or have I made that up from somewhere?
  9. I've put the odd emergency tankful of 95 in before, no harm done.
  10. The 911 wants 98 but gets 97, 1RON isn't here nor there really. Certainly I wouldn't worry about it
  11. This person is my new hero, and we even share the same name!
  12. Absolutely not. For the gains you get for the first 5 mins of excitedness, you lose an incredible amount of stability on the forum and the amount of forums I've seen hacked that had a garage mod you wouldn't believe. ROC was done twice, IMOC was done too, and I know the guys who ran both sites at the time and they're no fools. Not worth the risk IMHO.
  13. Don't forget the bungs too, and stay well clear of any noise testers out there else it'll be a very short trip! Good luck guys, and enjoy the Ring!
  14. But you clearly have no friends
  15. Check out my photo above, no use of the Tardis there and I got everything in
  16. Has your Mac gone bad yet? (I'm guessing not)... and has your PC? (I'm guessing yes) No and no. I've yet to need to fix anything from Win7 that wasn't my own fault in the first place.
  17. If coming in from Calais, don't forget to wave at the photographer at the Boulogne/Mer toll on the A16 and grab your photo from his website afterwards...
  18. Funny, I'm doing exactly the same thing
  19. If my PC goes tits up then I'm very comfortable digging around in the registry and all the fiddly bits to sort it out. If my Mac ever did the same I wouldn't have a clue where to start as the entire file structure and program is completely different. I'm not saying that it's any more difficult to learn as I suspect it's not, it's just what I've grown up with and what I'm used to. For me, a PC makes the simple things more complicated than they need to be at time, whereas on a Mac the complicated stuff becomes an absolute impossibility to sort out. That's the real downsides to both units, although Win7 is about as perfect an OS as I've ever used and makes the call for OSX much less urgent. Still needs tidying up though.
  20. don't like it, don't read it seriously though, mac or pc? As a Mod, I don't have that luxury. I use both equally, and I find both to have equally irritating habits. I love my Apple hardware and iOS, but I wouldn't want to be without a Windows machine either as I understand the technical side of it better.
  21. Oh marvellous, another fanboi thread.

    Wii U

So much fail in that pad it's untrue. I can see what they're trying to do and I respect that, but unless they can get this out at the same price point as the Wii, which isn't going to happen with those iPad control monsters, I doubt it's going to have the same success.

    My Le Mans efforts!

    That's brilliant!
