  1. Whereabouts and who ran it? Recommendations are very much welcome on this thread
  2. This thread is truly epic. I won't post up the obvious, but I will say that for someone who says they won't lose a single second of sleep over what anyone says on an interweb forum, there's been an awful lot of argumentative replies from said person
  3. Wot no stickerz? I DECLARE THIS THREAD MADE OF FAIL
  4. Petrol will never be any cheaper than it is right now. Either buy silly cars and get them out of your system while you can, or win the lottery.
  5. I really, really like that Front and rear light clusters are stunning bits of design, and whilst it's not exactly a sexy car it's much better than the outgoing model. There's shades of Alfa in the rear three-quarter view you know...
  6. Top job there grandad Seriously though, looks a million times better and really has made a difference to the age of the motor. Nice work mate
  7. She probably did you a favour, now you can go and buy something that's not a FWD scrabble wagon
  8. The 370Z is very lucky that, at the price point it's at, there are no competitors. Excluding second hand cars, and going spec for spec, there's nothing to touch it. I suspect that Nissan might be counting themselves very fortunate. Any one know if there's any sales figures available for it yet?
  9. sum1s got the hump Back to the OP's question, I'd go for one of Tarmac's ones rather than a cheapy off eBay. Double price but at least you know what you're getting.
  10. I think you're absolutely correct Rich, and good on you for doing so. ;) What's with not using a capital letter at the start of a sentence too? That's as lazy as not bothering to indicate, your finger is right by the shift key! (Not aimed specifically at you Rich, but now I mention it... )
  11. It's a mk3 MR2. Easy to tell by the windscreen rake. /mr2 geek
  12. I used it on the MR2, the VXR and the 350, but I won't use it on the 911. Make of that what you will.
  13. Numbers don't tell the whole story though. In terms of driving enjoyment they rate the Cayman R as very much right at the top of the tree, with the 1M not that far back but with the 370Z and the TTRS some distance behind. That's a shame for Nissan, a disaster for Audi, but it shows just how far on top Porsche and BMW are in terms of recognising what enthusiastic drivers want from a car. We don't necessarily want the fastest thing out there, we want something that just feels like the fastest thing out there.
  14. As I said, it depends on the tyre. 30psi would be fine for something like the PS2s, but it'd feel like treacle on FK452s.
  15. Not a bad track, but it's a bit generic for my taste. I think I probably wrote something like that on Dance eJay back in 1998!
  16. What tyres do you have on now, with regards to make not size? Tyre pressure is dependant on that far more than the size of the tyre itself. That said, 35psi front and back isn't a bad place to start and isn't going to put you in a ditch. Welcome along btw, get some pics and a post up in the Introduction section!
  17. Sounds like a good reason to do it, assuming we're talking fit nubile nurses
  18. I prefer these: Correct Accuracy Pride FPMSL Post of the year, right there. Magnificent work fella!
  19. I had no issues getting rid of mine, but only because I'd stripped it back to standard so it didn't even feel like my car any more, and also because I was fulfilling a dream by getting the 911. I miss it, and I'm sad because I didn't get time to do all the mods to it that I wanted, but because it was the most manly car I've ever owned I didn't feel a great attachment to it the way I did the VXR or the MR2. That's not to slight the car as it was an absolute hoot for the 3 years I owned it, which is the longest I've ever kept a car, it was just a case of moving on.
  20. Acronyms are perfectly acceptable, dropping vowels isn't.
  21. I have no problem with the odd typo, as that's an innocent mistake. What does bug me, especially on forums and FB where text space is not limited, is that people seem to think it's okay to write like they're 6 years old and using a mobile phone for the first time. FFS, you've got a whole keyboard in front of you, so there's no need to drop the vowels to make a word shorter! In all honesty there's no excuse for bad spelling either unless you're in a desperate rush, as all browsers now can now be enabled with a built in spell checker which quickly picks up any errors. Or there's even Google if you really get stuck on a word. So yes, I judge people, and I'm fairly comfortable in doing so. Not sure if that makes me a bad person or not.
  22. You do not chav up a Jag with aftermarket bodykits, end of.
  23. I assume you're bringing this beast to Mark's for the LeMans weekend Rich? Or rather, I'm bloody hoping you are!
