  1. Can't help with the first, but I'm on my second zed and both had horrendous handbrakes. I always leave in gear anyway.
  2. Really? I thought this was just an assumption a lot of people make and actually you have to declare anything that affects your policy as soon as possible. It probably covers this in your policy small print.
  3. I spent a while trying to figure out what the 'panel in underwear' was My best advice for interviews...enjoy it! Try and convince yourself you are looking forward to it, you can't wait and you're going to just enjoy the experience. If it works, you'll come across much more relaxed and you'll put the interver at ease. Personnally, I still feel nervous as the interviewer so keep in mind the pressure isn't all on you - they are human too.
  4. I was about to say 16.5k for an 03 350 even with supercharger is expensive, then I saw the pics...stunning car! Hope you get the money. I don't think we have many irish members which could be an issue for breaking - will cost loads in postage.
  5. I noticed that when looking at loads of cars before buying mine - traders just don't seem to be willing to drop prices at all.
  6. I've seen a few of interest on autoquake.com but I think you need to buy before you try, or at least that's the impression I got, which puts me off a bit. The prices look reasonable, what was your experience of them? Its a gamble, you can pay a deposit and go view but they were over 220 miles away from me so I bought based on description and pictures. Cost £272 to get it delivered but all good, genuine car and as described - plus I had a no quibble 7 day money back guarantee. I researched them over the internet, a lot of bad review but I was lucky. They sell 1000 cars a month apparantly so some unhappy customers to be expected.
  7. Have a look on autoquake, I just bought my zed from there and there was a similar one slightly more expensive. My 57plate GT was 13.5k with only 33k on her and one owner, a few tiny chips but aside from that immaculate.
  8. The e92 is supposed to be a superb diesel, 0-60 on a par with the petrol version. If you want a big cruiser, the 635 I reckon would be a good car, lots of toys.
  9. What a cow, I paid for dinner both times - that should count for something!
  10. Same car (year) that I just bought, my clutch is a little noisy when engaged, so was my last zed, very common and lots of threads on it.
  11. I have a canvas wallet type thing, ellese i think, knicked it from the missus prob 8 years ago. Its tatty but you can have it for £150.
  12. Same car as me, let me know how you get on. I must say though its fast enough for me!
  13. Welcome!! Forum names are like tattoos (admittedly less permanent!), great idea at the time but imagine turning up to meets and introducing yourself as 'muppetswallower'
  14. I think white rims look stunning on blue zeds.
  15. First drive this morning - what the hell have they done to the engine!! She roars when you open her up, massive difference to my 05 model. Revometer goes up to 9k! I'd forgotten how bad visibility was though!
  16. linky Car is as described, very happy with it. I'll post some decent pics on one of the image sites when i get chance but you should be able to see them on the above link.
  17. 1 hour til car delivered...5 hour drive for them! Fingers crossed she's genuine...
  18. You should get a full pro rata refund from swift it they won't insure you - they are effectively in breach of contract. You'll lost the NCB for that year obviously. Have you tried Sky? I've not found them the cheapest but friends of mine have. I'm with Bell, every year admiril come up cheapest but Bell match (same company).
  19. excuse me? btw Whats wrong with that? I too am a lover of vag. Though if I'm honest, I prefer boobs.
  20. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2406920.htm Needs to go as I've bought a zed instead...
  21. Terrible time to sell a car, everyones skint. If you're rushed I'd agree with 13k, you if you can wait, try 14k.
  22. wooho They just called, car being delivered on Wednesday. Fingers crossed she's as described. They drive it down and take train back - seems crazy to me why they don't trailer them. Leeds - Llanelli!
  23. Good to hear, they've been very good on the phone and there are a mountain of pics of the car so I feel good buying remotely, its a gamble though. Car is paid for, just waiting for phonecall to arrange delivery!! Looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and seeing how it compares to my old one. I know they are 15mm lower (my old one was 2005 JDM, 279bhp IIRC), the new one is 313bhp and supposedly .3 of a second quicker and higer revs. £435 tax tho!!! thats a killer. I'm selling my BMW 330 ci (full MSPORT), 54 plate if anyone knows anyone looking for one. I'll do proper adverts at some point.
  24. I don't think many people have heard much about Phil recently, which is a shame........ Welcome back Hey Sarnie, still in the mortgage business? Got the lambo?
