Mine is usually 8.1 averaging 55 (mph?) mixture of motorway and traffic (town). Just noticed all my tyres were running 20PSI - got them upto 30PSI now so will be interesting to see how she runs.
  2. Cheers matey appreciate that!
  3. ahah, drop me a pm if you end up selling!
  4. Bummer, was after one of these, will have to bid with the masses now. I'd paypal £50 delivered if you are interested in quick sale...
  5. Recieved mine some time ago - thanks Stew! I would have said earlier but been away in London. Weather looks crap this weekend so doubt I'll get chance to try it - one question, the slick suds from poorboys says add 1 ounce to 2 gallons - how much is an ounce? American ounce in weight? 1 fluid oz?! How much do people put in - capful?
  6. I heard she fancies a large erection... coat?
  7. Thats nothing new, most of my x girlfriends had valves. I used to dump them when their eyes turned white...
  8. Feck, I was thinking, thats stupid, why would he need glasses? Then I thought, well it does say he 'wishes to purchase' so I guess its a fair question. Then I realised I was an idiot. To make it worse, I've heard it before...
  9. tea and bacon butties would be very likely to secure my services! that said you would need a lot of it as I'm very slow... The carpet was awful, and when you think we were using the property for holiday lets up until recently the amount of people that have been through there (literally) does not bare thinking about!
  10. Lol yeah, I knew that - I usually take the screwfix catalogue with me to BQ and compare prices. I remember a vent BQ were selling for £4.95 was 1.50 online. I have noticed the screwfix prices have been creeping up a lot though and they are closer in price than they used to be. @martin - thats an awsome cake! Is it some kind of fudge thing? Jealous now. Happy birthday matey.
  11. Hey you done a good job there matey (Sad comment but I love plumbing - find it relaxing yes I know ) Not used the copper push fittings yet only the plastic ones - a lot of good new products on the market means you can do loads more yourself - hope you did'nt get them from B&(RIP OFF)Q?? Go to City Plumb or Plumb Centre - pay cash and you get trade price - then you know how much we are all getting riped off by B&Q and the rest (although - Wickes have always been good) So with your neat bathroom project a success hopfully you will be confident to do more and save a fortune on tradesmen? Cheers matey! I buy a lot of big stuff from B&Q but the plumbing stuff from screwfix. I had a look at the plastic stuff - looks quite cool so might try that next. Not a fan of plumbing at all, but I've really enjoyed tiling and do find that quite relaxing! Now that is nearly finished, got a new kitchen arriving in 2 weeks, that will be a laugh. I'm really mean - I hate the idea of paying someone to do stuff I can do and I enjoy, even if it takes me 3 times as long!
  12. Seeing as we are having a show and tell, this is mostly what I've been doing since Friday - very long weekend so far! Before (horrible carpet as well!) Stripped... Getting there! Never done a bathroom before - copper push fittings are a life saver! Also, the suite wasn't designed for our pipe routing so I had to build a false shelf for the toilet and basin. Not far away tho and chuffed I had a go myself instead of getting a plumber.
  13. Whats Geneva like as a place to live? Its supposed to be the second best place in the world (second to Zurich) but I'm more interested in the outlying regions - say 30/40 minutes outside Geneva. I may have the opportunity to relocate to Geneva next year as a base. If I like it there then we may look to relocate long term. I can't find any info on property - we've currently got land and a relatively large house, so we'd be looking for something rural with land (minimum 5 acres for horses). Any ideas on prices/availabilty of rural property around geneva? Just fact finding at the moment to see what is possible. I don't know what my company would stump up with but our budget would be around 400-450k GBP ideally if we sold up in the UK. The other alternative is to rent a place with land. I haven't even visited yet so have no idea what to expect!
  14. Don't do it - the kit appears to badly affect fuel consumption. Ok, so admittedly its because you know you get such a nice noise when you press the pedal that you just cannot help yourself! Seriously though, I find the kit accenautes the natural tone of the engine. I really like it and can't recommend Phil enough - turned up exactly when promised.
  15. Now I'm not sure on this, not found the front/rear balance yet! I think its coming from the rear but with the small cab its difficult to tell.
  16. Just got your PM (not been online), will paypal you later tonight - thanks!
  17. Recieved, fitted and lovin the noise! Very easy to fit, the most difficult part was fishing out my spanner when I dropped it in the engine bay. Thanks!
  18. I didn't know you could get inline boosters, I'll try that - cheers!
  19. £95 delivered in stock and ready to go. I keep meaning to PM you for one but I thought you didn't include the heatshield?! How do you want paying?
  20. There was quite a few primera ones on ebay a few weeks back, I emailed a couple of sellers at the time. No-one would guarantee they would work on the Zed and I got the impression some had tried and failed and were trying to shift the units on. Good luck though, they are the grail for jdm owners and you'll have a lot of competition so don't post up if you see one on ebay!
  21. I would like a pop charger for my 2005 JDM Zed, with heat shielding, feed pipe (if the zed needs one?) etc... But! I don't want to pay more than £100 cos I'm Welsh and tighter than a nuns morals. Any traders that can supply or members selling off let me know!
  22. Actually - does anyone know if there is anything I can do to improve the radio reception assuming its not the unit? I like the standard arial though...
  23. To be honest I was naughty and just connected the green wire to a live source to see what would happen - I was lucky and it worked! I've had a few people PM me about the unit I bought, so: Now that its been in a few days I'm not overly impressed. I'd say its definitly not worth any more than I paid. The sound quality seems pretty good actually, I'm not that impressed with the interface, there is no screensaver when playing music and it looks a bit crap. The DVD playback is good. The radio reception is awful though to be fair that might not be the units fault. Overall, for the money its ok. I'll get some pics up in a few days.
  24. How much (delivered) for grounding kit? What colour is it and do you have the fitting instructions? I believe its easy to fit, I have no idea where they do tho!
