I thought the pop charger was around £95 and you don't get a heatshield - I'm not even sure if you get the duct work. Happy to be proved wrong though as I'm considering some kind of induction purchase...

Ah cool - meant to ask about this! What is the switch on the right of the VDC? Mine lights up but nothing seems to happen!! Only just realised the windows fold in too! Mines JDM 2005.

I just bought some new and supposedly specifically for the 350z (with eyelet) for £21 delivered. Should be here in the week, I'll post up if they are any good or not. Off ebay btw, loads on there. If you can hang on a few days I should be able to get some pics up.

I was going to BIN (buy it now) on this linky Does anyone know if this will go straight into my JDM and if it will also play DVDs? I've missed out on a few similar ones and they all said DVD but this one says CD-Rom... Anyone got one? Actually, I'm positive its CDrom only so will give it a miss and hold out for the DVD based on from a primera or xtrail - anyone confirm that they play DVDs ok?

Good call, didn't think of the work already done. I think I'll create a second sheet with notes linked of the first sheet so the front stays tidy. I thought I could also hyperlink the pictures to a write-up of what was done. pretty sad really, I insist on good I.T. documentation in work...now I'm documenting my car!

Something I've meant to do on other cars but never got around to - recording what I do to a car. I've done a quick draft spreadsheet to record details on the car, I'm thinking I can add pics over time with whatever I do to the car, plus record when I spend money on her. Thinking of resale (long time off hopefully!) its bound to add value when you can just send someone a link and they can know everything about the car. Anyway, thought I'd share it incase it inspires others to do something similar...or to share what you already have! linky (xls) Perhaps other people have cooler ways of recording car shizzle? Didn't want to do a web page as I only want the info to be local to me for obvious reasons. Anyone think of anything else useful I should record?

I was told my 2005 model was already undersealed as that year model JDM is. It is easy to tell if its been undersealed? I have really seen my car in the daylight yet as its dark when I go to work and dark when I get home!

FWD that budget would be easy - something like a prelude would be perfect... RWD, you may pick up a 323, 325 or 328 E36 BMW Coupe at that price, loved mine. Or older school something like the 318 is E30 (you'll be lucky to get the 325i sport E30). Wonder if you'd be able to pick up a 300sx at that price? Would probably be a dog though.

Someone actually emailed me a funny (ish)! Rare as I do our IT policies. The Lone Ranger was ambushed and captured by an Indian war party. He's brought before the Chief who declares, 'So, you are the great Lone Ranger. In three days paleface you will be sacrificed to the great God in the sky. But, before you die, I will grant you three requests. What is your first request?' The Lone Ranger responds, 'I'd like to speak to my horse.' The Chief nods and Silver is brought before the Lone Ranger, who whispers in Silver's ear, and the horse gallops away. Later that evening, Silver returns with a beautiful blonde woman on his back. As the Indians look on in amazement, the blonde enters the Lone Ranger's wigwam and spends the night. The next morning the Indian Chief admits he's impressed. 'You have very fine and loyal horse, but I will still kill you in two days. What is your second request?' The Lone Ranger again asks to speak to his horse. Silver is brought to him, and he again whispers in the horse's ear. As before, Silver takes off across the plains and disappears over the horizon.
