My car appears to be immaculate - new car smell, immaculate paintwork - sunset 05 plate with 6k on her, Version S for 15k. I've only had her 2 days and very happy so far, the test will be if she is clicking from the rear and if that would be done under warranty. Even if its not with the price I paid I'm still loving her.

Happy with my car so far, great price too - though I thought I heard a click when driving it back, 6 month warranty should sort it if its the dreaded 350 clicking.

My new Zed has sat nav (jap) and from reading this thread I've been on the lookout for a xtrail navi unit. I've read another thread where someone said a primera DVD unit will fit - can anyone clarify the following as it might be useful for other import zed owners: Xtrail Navi or Primera DVD unit will work? Both give Sat nav and DVD R?

Loads of them in Canada, I think they are the USDM equivalent of the 350z, they also do a 4 door version, my mate over their took me out in his - identical engine.

I hear what you are saying, but I think most people factor in appearance when dealing with people - its natural. I think if I was a dealer and someone looking like a homeless person wandered in asking to test drive the new R8 I might think twice... When I view houses, cars or go for financial meetings I dress smart, not OTT in suits etc, just smart as it does create a better impression - would you go to a job interview in jeans? I suppose its depends on the job. Anyway, where did this thread go lol!

Hey mate i used bonsai cars, they told me it would be 3 months but more like 5! Then to top it off the car that i ordered didnt come so had to take another one! I actually worked out better for me, but just make sure its a grade 5. Then had to pick it up in southhampton but overall am pretty pleased One thing that annoyed me about them - they seem to advertise cheap cars on autotrader that don't exist when you ring them... Could be they are selling fast but I got the feeling they were just getting you to contact them. Whatever you do, avoid Torque of Knightly in Yorkshire - heard sooo many horror stories about them from the supra forums I frequent.

I bought my jdm 350 without driving it - will find out sat if its any good! Seems like a good dealer though - HSC cars in Glouscester. Did give the car a good look over first though. He had quite a few 350s there. I think I contacted JCImports after someone on here or another forum recommended them - he had some low priced imports in blue. I got an email off him saying he was on holiday then he didn't bother contacting me so I went elsewhere (i didn't chase him tho)

HSC cars in Gloucester. Assuming she doesn't end up being a lemon she seems a really good buy. Mike's the owner - seems like a top bloke, knows his stuff. Of course, they are there to sell and who knows how the car will be so its not like I can recommend them. So far they seem great though.

Seems like a sh1t load of car for the money. My driver on the weekend (not as posh as it sounds, business taxi service!) said they're considering a move from Mercs to the 300c. Apparantly the 300c is based on an older model E class, same chassis.

I swung from JDM - UK - JDM, decided on JDM because I got so much more for my money, and personnaly I believe the ultra low mileage will help lower depreciation. I bought June 05 350z with 6k on her, Type S model in mint condition with 6 months warranty, 12 months MOT, 6 months tax for 15k.

New one is a 6.1litre HEMI with 425bhp ... but it's heavy and has american suspension Wow. its the 5.7 litre i was thinking of, supposed to be around 5 secs 0-60mph. the stopping distance would concern me more!

My boss is considering the 300c, I love em. The big engined one is faster than the 350z by quite some margin, don't think it will handle as well though.

what Ferrari? Beautiful car Sarnie, I bet she is a pleasure to drive. Anyone seen the youtube video where the gallardo shot across a junction and smashed into a lampost will loads of people watching?! Bet he was gutted, criminal to do that to such a stunning motor.

NTL offer a managed solution I seem to remember from a few years back, or Virgin they are now. They feck most things up but hey its another option for you. Was quite low cost IIRC. Probably find BT can offer a rental hosted solution as well.

Picking her up Saturday...getting excited now! Bit of a bonus, the advert stated Feb 05 which made her a 54 plate, just got the reg and she's 05 - June! S'only a few months difference but physcologically better for resale. Last week one of the networks guys took me out in his G35 (4 door ), I think its a very similar engine...really made me look forward to mine now! We were blasting around the roads in Toronto at about midnight, great handling and performance and that the 4 door.
