  1. BM, i understand what you're trying to say, but the argument for genuine vs replica was the wrong format for it - i think Mark's, comment below was more what you were getting at (the way i understood it, and the way i feel)...
  2. I think Kimbo shoulda been BA...
  3. Why are you asking husky...? He wouldnt know anything about that sort of behavior!
  4. Are you down to 6 lives now alex...??
  5. ????????? If it works why don't you make a few and sell to us Tiptronic discontents and make a few bucks?? I'm sure you could shift loads at a sub-£100 fitted price. Cos i've not made it to a standard if you know what i mean... The wiring harness with the microswitches, yes i could make and sell those at 20quid a pop i spose, but the paddles themselves... jeez what a job they were. I made them from scratch out of some ford escort indicator stalks, and about 30 hours with a dremell...! Not something i want to do again! I'll go and take some pictures actually and update my paddle shift thread.
  6. I think the official kits are about £400, but i made one from scratch for about £40... Its taken me bloody ages though!
  7. Thats what i do at oulton park right before i bounce across the grass and into the cones.
  8. The box wont let you change down when its not safe, so you'll be fine. Im sure when nissan aded that feature, they built it within acceptable limits. Manual mode is the way to go though... gives you full control of the car in the same way as a manual. You have nothing in D. ...you want to get a paddle shift kit though... much more fun!
  9. Not sure to be honest mate... i got mine from ebay usa (non carbon - just frp and had them painted). Try PMing Envy or CS?
  10. lol... i've seen them for sale but never fitted. Duffa, no problem mate

  14. Almost mate... if you mouse over each image and copy the 'IMG Code' from the drop down box, and paste it in here, mthe pics will show directly on this page... Nice wheels btw...
  15. Wow Dave, top work mate!!!!
  16. This is me in the middle (next to my 6'8" mate!). 1x white apron @ £5 1x Mask @ £10 and i painted a kitchen knife to match... And another mate went as a mummy... just a tenners worth of bandages and some thermals, and some green face paint... but when he went for a pi$$ he couldnt get them all back on again!
  17. Yep mine were from Delsea but i got them on ebay USA.
  18. Sold this tonight... £450 I miss it now and wish i hadnt
  19. The common fix is to inclip the black cylinder things that hang down either side of the boot lid, and put a penny in them before clipping them back on. This then makes the gives the effect of making the springs stronger... BUT... your method may be better, as the black cylinders are quite weak and i've broke the housing on mine when adding the 1p, and had to replace them, and i know IanS16 mentioned that it had damaged his hatch or something?
  20. I rented this last night as i hated the Forza 2, and i've just been on it for a couple of hours. The FWD cards handle perfectly, but they got the zed handling wrong imo. Nice game, but i wish Need for Speed shift had the same handling as this, as i cant see the point of Forza? What are you supposed to do?
  21. Both of thise actually look seriously hot
  22. Chris, Believe you me they were perfect I think the purist would say 18" or even 17" for racing but its unfounded because a very light 19" wheel is as good especially as you can get wider tyres etc.....see the porkers GT 2&3 and lots more other production track spec cars they all have 19 inchers Anyway these wolfrace a a bit heavy (but not so more than the Gt4 wheels.) and the lip is quite prone to on track kerb dammage i will in the future go for the CE28N or similarly light 19" wheels. I think i had a bad set of them anyway, but my car had absolutely no accuracy on turn in... then i put my 17" JDM's back on and the car felt like a precision instrument again, what a difference! CE28N ftw though.
  23. Yep, would be my choices too stan... G35, 300C, R34 Skyline...
