  7. I had a properly frozen windscreen two mornings this week, and im 'darn sarf' compared to you stew! I dont mind the zed in the snow - i get to practice my drifting.
  8. I tried with them last year and they wouldnt insure me.... as i was in an 'SK' postcode. Its totally ridiculous, i live in a nice area! The cheapest i can find anywhere is £775.
  9. Hmmm... well i went out to try and take some pictures... but it was a bit dark by the time i got out there so not much use, but at least you can see the LEDs! They're the same colour as my 8000k bulbs too.
  10. I'll take the Gas bonnet dampers bud... they come with everything needed for an oem bonnet?

    slip light

hi chris if i put 245/35/19 on the front as ive been told do you think this will be ok. many thanks for the info p.s my wheels are jade-r +1 - as i said yesterday, they're the sizes you need.
  13. Yep Santapod do drift days at reasonable prices... think they're about £60 for the day... i've not been yet though, and i wouldnt be taking the zed on either! They're on propper tarmac so you'll go through a few sets of tyres in a day

    slip light

yes they are 40s you think this is the problem ...just a question, and ignore me if im wrong... but you didnt by any chance get your wheels from DP Motorsport did you? They recommended those tyre sizes to me when i was buying, but i knew they were wrong and forced them to give me 35 profile all round (which they really didnt want to do for some reason). Anyway, back to your problem... i've read of people running your tyre sizes and not having a problem with the slip, but then have read of others, like yourself, who it is a problem for, so i cant help other than that. See other discussion on this here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18250&hilit=radius+slip&start=15 viewtopic.php?f=37&t=7437&hilit=radius+slip Discussion is about different wheel sizes to yours, but you should be running 245/35/19 and 275/35/19

    slip light

What tyres have you got on the front pal? You need to keep the rolling radius' the same as stock. This slip light issue has been discussed a lot, and occurs when you change the rolling radius of the tyres front vs back. Im guessing you're gonna say that the profile on the fronts is 40? If so, i think thats your problem. Other possibility, how long have you had the car? Could this be your first time experiencing winter, wet/greasy roads?
  16. You only come out on halloween bud? Or is that your missus?
  17. +1... viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15508&hilit=ticking&start=15
  18. I think this is what i have too, yes... although mine isnt speed/cold related. It just rattles, which i would describe as a ticking noise.
  19. Not definitely. What if a component has failed creating a short? As i said, my desktop PC failed last year with exactly these symptoms, and it wouldnt go into Post... until i disconnected the HDD. Fingers crossed its the PSU, but my suggestion is simple enough to try if no spare PSU is available (probably should have mentioned that - the first thing i tried was a spare PSU )
  20. Mike, Take the side off and first of all, check all the connections are solid. If its still not working, start unplugging components systematically and turning on again each time. Yes i've had a failed PSU before, but that came with a distinct smell, and no brief whirring sound. The last time i had the issue you describe, it turned out to be a failed hard disk. So, you can remove the following restarting every time: CD/DVD-ROM Floppy Hard Disk Individual Memory modules Graphics Card Even without these items, your computer should still POST - which is the bootup procedure. If you remove one and you get further, then thats your culprit. Lastly, flip out your bios battery and leave for 30 seconds. It could even be something as nasty as a virus affecting your bios.
  21. Seriously??!??! Get some pics up Liam!! That was ace... every thursday night at 6pm. Then they show the 'datablast' as it was going off which you record and then pause to get cheats! Do you have a video of your appearance? What were you playing?
  22. Ha ha, just saw your gameboy pic and was gonna post up a game gear... till i scrolled down Best game - GGR shinobi!
