  1. EDIT - I've read the codes, see my latest post! Hi all, Sorry to post this, but i need some help reading my fault codes...! Same story as many others on here - when driving today, about 1 minute after setting off the engine/slip lights came on and the car went into limp mode. I restarted it immediately and the light were gone, but then 30 seconds later it all came on again with limp mode. So switched it off and on for a 3rd time, and i got a mile up the road before it happened again so limped all the way home. So, i've tried to read the codes using the guide from here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=53054&hilit=engine+light and i filmed it. However i cant really discern where the fast/slow flashes stop and start - and they seem to go on forever (i got bored of filming after a while! Does this mean that i've got loads of fault codes stored which could have been on there for years, or have loads of faults been thrown from this issue? I'm thinking if i do an ecu reset and wait for it to happen again before reading the codes...? Lastly - the car has been fine for the 6k miles i've had it, never had a problem. Only 37k on the clock now. I fitted a throttle controller about 3 weeks ago but have done a couple of hundred miles since then without fault... Any help is much appreciated.
  2. I love it But i if i was driving it, i'd want this hat.
  3. Erm... i think i'd be getting that diagnosed further an possibly have the tank drained and filter changed now! And then i'd be taking the bill for that round to that garage...
  4. +1, but they cost a fortune. Very reliable (Never had an outage in 7+ years), great speed... but you pay for it.
  5. Welcome Draq... Any pics of your zed...?

  7. Are the leads connected to the spark plugs in the right order...?
  8. Try using some bug and tar remover... i had similar trouble trying to get the glue off my headlights from some beam converters i used in europe...

  11. Call me and see what happens I find that in 90% of cases you usually do end up owing that £14 as a part month payment, or maybe you cancelled it 29 days in advance of your next bill instead of 30...?

    New Jag!

Very nice. Love the current XK but it's a little bit to old man for me, but this looks really good.
  19. ...good question. I use my stand alone sat nav stuck on the window as i prefer it, but i would stick the same in the zed again as it costs so little money.
  20. You've got another car havent you bud? Signup to Admiral Multicar - its sooo much cheaper. Even if your other cars' insurance doesnt run out for another 11 months, as long as you add it to the policy at some point you will get a 35% discount. My zed is insured for £735 with them (and it was around £1300 with everyone else).
