I uprated my non-brembos on my last zed... and it cost me £700 for uprated DBA discs, Endless pads, braided lines and fitting. I should have just bought the brembos ...for a pair of uprated discs for the JDM you're lookign at £300 alone...

I spent 3 hours detailing it yesterday and loved every minute of it. I then went for a drive for about 15 minutes and no exaggeration there were at least 6 cars full of people that were pointing and staring at it which was pretty cool ...so i think i will keep it.

Could be interested on this depending on dates... I think driving from up north down to the chunnel would be a better option though... the Hull ferry was quite dear last time i checked, and it's an extra 2 nights away...

Cheers Leon... when are we going to see some pictures of your zed... im intrigued Cheers Andy... your comments are so true... the fact that zeds are worth so little is crazy. And to this end, i've been thinking further still... i might keep it after all ...Maybe just having a car in general is just a cost of life that i shouldnt be trying to cut out. I've been looking for acceptable alternative cars that i'd be willing to drive instead, and they're not that cheap. I'd narrowed it down to either an 03 Mercedes C-Class / E-Class, or a 2007 Lexus IS220d, but i'm looking at about £6-7k for either of those... so for only saving a max of £3k off the value of my zed it's just not worth the trouble... So as of today im keeping my zed ...but i may change my mind again tomorrow

The body mods are a "nismo v1 bodykit"... one of the most desired and natural looking kits for the 350z mate. Its not that the market is narrow for selling it, I think the complete opposite. The problem lies where the owner appreciates the time and effort in this car and wants more than market value for it. If the price was right that car would sell in minutes as its an absolute stunner. PS theres something bizarre about the front bumper for being a factory fit though.. The headlight washers look weird. Just noticed a few minutes ago. Sorry lol Cheers Neil. The headlight washers are actually camera holes... JDM cars had an option for 2x sideways facing cameras to see out of junctions, but they were removed by the car's first UK owner as they didnt work with his new headunit i believe Its also got a factory fitted rear view cam, but i dont have it hooked up to anything... I've spent all night agonising over the figures again tonight and i still cant decide what to do. I've decided that if i do sell, i want a 2001-2003 C-Class Mercedes (always liked them), and they can be picked up for under £4k... but to make it worthwhile i really do have to get top dollar for the zed. Decisions decisions...
