£1600 is still a lot for me as i dont have rich parents to lean on! ive paid for everything through saving and im sadly out of savings now so need the cheapest i can get! i tried Livingstone Warman but they only take 25 yo's think ill have to settle with admiral oh just another dig at me car tax is up this month aswell gonna be a couple months of no drinking for me No rich parents here mate, paid for it all on me tod whilst renting my first house too. Not sure how i afforded it to be honest? Wouldnt be paying that kind of money now, thats for sure.

...good question. I use my stand alone sat nav stuck on the window as i prefer it, but i would stick the same in the zed again as it costs so little money.

You've got another car havent you bud? Signup to Admiral Multicar - its sooo much cheaper. Even if your other cars' insurance doesnt run out for another 11 months, as long as you add it to the policy at some point you will get a 35% discount. My zed is insured for £735 with them (and it was around £1300 with everyone else).

Looks like a broken screen. As Chris has said try the connections first but if you dont get any joy just bin it. Welcome. Go to photobucket and signup there for free, upload your pics, and paste the image links on here.

Dont forget to make sure it's not shorting out on anything... if you're turning it on resting on that copped foil it will short out. You should also check the solder joints on the power lead connector - they are pretty flimsy.

Non return valve... basically the Y-pipe that i mentioned earlier. Well, there is a y shaped NRV and a straight through one too...

When you swapped the memory card did you swap the files too? Im pretty sure the sat nav software is on the memory card and it tries to boot into that upon sartup. As for the USB... mine worked no problem. My Windows 7 laptop recognises it as a mobile device and launches a device control center...

That is a Nurrish system. You have to hold the power button on for about 4 seconds before it powers on. As you have removed the dash, plug the power in and turn on the ignition - and you should be able to see a red light on the PCB if it's getting power...

I've got a Fiesta for a shed but it's not worked out how i wanted... i now only drive te Fiesta - my zed gets driven about once a month now. It's nothing to do with money either... i've put my zed on a pedestal and treat it like it's too nice to drive now - i might as well sell the zed tbh...

Why not wire them to the first setting on your headlights, and then remove the w5w sidelight bulb if you want? That's what most people do.

+1 on the Goodyears... fantastic on the road and track. Completely changes the car having quality tyres as opposed to the usual budget options (Falken, Avon etc).
