  1. Cheers Leon... will do my reading first and see what i need, but may be useful if a loom is required. You got your name down for the Trafford Center meet on the 18th yet...??
  2. Just had the following happen when clicking 'Open Link in New Tab' in Firefox on the 'View your posts' link: Problem just appeared to be a blip - was fine when clicking on it again...
  3. Cheers Mark. I guess i'll need to find out what the cruise control wires are and then whip my wheel off and have a butchers...
  4. Cool... Here's a pic of my Momo wheel. It's only done 35k miles and is in perfect condition.
  5. I think Mark at abbey says its possible. I have a steering wheel with the buttons but its not on my car. Id be up for a swap with that momo wheel Hey pal... possibly very interested in this if we can find out for sure. What condition is it in? Any lacquer peel on the plastic panels?
  6. Hi all... My zed is a JDM model, and i think it has every possible factory option. Unfortunately that includes the very rare Nissan MOMO steering wheel - which doesnt have any buttons on it - hence i dont have Cruise Control Has anyone tried to retrofit cruise control before to a non-cruise control car? I'm pretty sure if i swapped the wheel for a normal wheel the wiring would already be there... Anyone one wanna swap wheels with me?
  7. Those badges look goosed mate - i'd spray them satin silver instead as you'll struggle to get a good finish with a chrome spray.
  8. Shiiiit!! Call them up and tell them you've taken it off All my mods are declared, at no additional cost with admiral.
  9. Im in this years league... "Inter Your Mum" I always start the season with every intention of keeping my team updated, but then lose interest when it all goes wrong.
  10. Looking very cool Car is missing something though... maybe something like Irfan's roof spoiler?
  11. Offers around £24000
  12. My best tip would be to watch the show 'Wheeler Dealers' which is on a few cable channels (Discovery Realtime etc). I have series linked this on each channel, and watch about 4 hours a week of it. It's basically a mechanic showing you how to carry out loads of different jobs on a car - and i've learnt loads from it. So much so that i swapped my wishbones on my bmw last week without even giving it a second thought (and i've never really done anything mechanical either..)
  13. Oh crap no, if we're doing track photos then this one instead... entering 'The Carousel'
  14. One of my favourites...
  15. There's a chance i might be up for this... Do you have any more info other than the email address? Also - i have a work colleague with an Impreza who may be interested... is this just for RX8's and 350z's, or are other cars welcome too? Thanks.
  16. In fairness, that's what i should have done on mine... I spent £700 getting my brakes replaced with uprated parts, when i could have found a set of brembos for not much more...
  17. Yep i had slotted/drilled DBA's on my previous non-brembo zed. I think they were around £325 a pair from memory, but it was a couple of years ago now...
  18. I'm gutted about this... I have Sky Sports HD anyway so it doesnt really affect me, but the broadcast team the BBC have got together is fantastic. I really enjoy watching Jake, DC and Eddie, and Martin and DC's commentary is top notch. I really dont want to lose that.
  19. ...and the Norris is scared of Jack Bauer...
  20. Sorry to bring up my old post, but i thought i'd share the pics below... i finally got round to attaching my Ryu printout to my arcade machine tonight... i think it finishes it off nicely
  21. Great guide pal, and looks good too. Just need the fitted pics now...
  22. ...they wont be fine if it's a bit wet though... i did a sprint day in some 1.6mm tyres, and the car was all over the place.
  23. Surely it'd be mighty tricky to cover those tiny letters without hiding other parts of the calipers? Or am I missing something? ...uuummm get a new brembo sticker...?
  24. Offset has not got much do to with the clearing of the brembo's. It is more of the design of the wheels. You will have to place the wheels on the studs and measure the gap and then that will be the size spacer required. The offset is the distance from the center of the wheel that it is mounted onto the hub. See the image below:
  25. If you can make it down to cheshire to oulton park, i can highly recommend a drift what you brung drift day on their drift course (highly polished tarmac - very slippy technical circuit). I'm actually there with MSV on saturday - i bought an old bmw last week specifically for drifting. It's definitely the most fun i've ever had...
