  1. Mine goes a couple of mm over but never that much!
  2. I think there's a company near silverstone that does auto to manual conversions for around £1k, so might be worth contacting them to see if they can do it in reverse. However i'm not aware of any supercharged autos, and would be nervous about the reliability of that... ...not to mention what doing the swap would do to your resale value
  3. First thing you should do is swap to braided lines and then get some RBF600 bake fluid. Give it another go on track with that, and see how you get on, and as Vik says, give your brakes a rest frequently while on track.
  4. I would invest all you can in repairing your working gearbox as opposed to putting some unknown/untested box in your car. Do a fluid change and add some molyslip, and possibly look at the bush upgrade offered by Adam@Z1 the other day? (i'll find the link)... Edit: Here's the link. Not sure if this will improve things for you, but it sounds good! viewtopic.php?f=117&t=54014
  5. Anyone else struggling with the forum? Not been able to get on for 20mins, got on, and then lost connection again. Had the same earlier today too at around 12pm...?

    Gone Black

Needs spacers and lowered, then will look very
  7. Nissan X-Trial pads from any local motor factor.
  8. And didnt you do it all yourself? This guy wants a garage to do all the work so probably looking at another £3k labour?
  9. you'll be looking at about £10k for something like that mate.
  10. Very tempting as i need some bargain winter wheels... but sadly no tyres. Good luck with sale.
  11. If you've got JDM brakes then go to a motor factors and order some nissan x-trail pads as they'll fit... shouldnt pay more than about £25 i'd have thought for a pair of rears...
  12. I see one of these quite frequently in Knutsford where i work. Same colour scheme and everything.
  13. Yep, read that this morning - was quite interesting.

    ZCON USA 2011

+1 that would be ace... We should look to rent like a sprint circuit for the day somewere... I know Curborough do group bookings and it works out at about £60 per car for 15 or so cars... but it's not a particularly good track.
  15. Ah man jealous! Thats gonna be great fun! Lawman's a pretty good name. You should come out to Firestarter by the prodigy... that'll wind em up...
  16. I mean the pins on the TC side... i.e. on the plug that goes into the ODBII. Thats where mine were loose.
  17. Mine had a loose connection at the ODBII connector. The wires appeared to be still connected and covered by heatshrink, but the they had snapped underneath... so i pulled them off and resoldered them. The throttle should still work as you describe now, but also the screen should illuminate when just plugged into the ODBII and not the throttle... how about getting a 12v source from somewhere (8AA batteries, an electric drill etc) and tapping into the power wires... thats where i'd start...
  18. £164?? Fookin hell, has it got a TV in it?
  19. Yes there is, but i dont know what its called... It's something like a Type 051 or something... Take it to an independant motor factors and they'll know straight away - i paid about £57 for mine if i recall. The thing to be aware of is that the terminals are the wrong way round compared to UK batteries, i.e. + and - are on the opposite sides to normal.
