  1. Mine is pretty short but each car has meant a lot to me for a variety of reasons. 2000: 1976 MGB GT...British Racing Green. Loved this car as I restored it over a few years before I could drive. Really sad that I had to sell it in the name of practicality and rising costs. Nothing beats the pure simplicity twin carbs and a race exhaust. 2004: 2004 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 - cheap to run, practical, special edition with leather and other toys. Had a few good fun road trips. But it paved the way for... 2006: 2004 350Z GT Coupe. No chance of moving it on just yet but look forward to expanding my list!
  2. Folks found that they get better economy on 97/99 Ron than the standard 95? Mine definately sounds happier on the good stuff but cant say i've seen any improvements in mpg...
  3. Sorry if I missed it, but how much of a drop do you get off the Eiback Springs? Cheers
  4. Ha ha, yep, also feel like a fool!
  5. Admiral and Elephant worth a shot Non of the above could beat my Admiral renewal....although I dont have a charger!
  6. If they have done a lot of clutch work is there a chance it could be a flywheel issue? Am no expert tho Good luck getting it sorted - give the dealers hell until they do the job properly!
  7. Quality advice that. Whitley Bay would definately be an expereince tho
  8. I just booked in to Dan Perkins in Slough for P1: £140 [providing my own oil and filter] and £10 off their MOT charge to £30. For comparison, Shepperton Nissan wouldnt budge from £190. Havent heard of a Nissan dealer in the SE being any cheaper...but I am very keen to be corrected!
  9. I'll put dibs on that if its going Si Cheers I
  10. Nissan quoted me £63 +vat to buy a replacement mounting - definately wont be replacing it now!
  11. Just read all this - terrible mate. Fortunate that you have the CCTV to back it up, hope it can all be resolved quickly as it could have happened to any of us, regardless of how many people in the car. Good luck.
  12. Oldfields is nice. Been a couple of years since I ate there but v good when i did. Booking a good idea too
  13. For that its got to be Osborne Road is Jesmond. Plenty of hotels, good pubs / atmosphere. Quick taxi to the Bigg Market for a variety of clubs if you want. I miss the toon!
  14. Just doing some hunting through servicing threads. I live about 2 miles from this dealer - just quoted me £185 for a P1 with me supplying oil and filter. Spoke to Dan Perkins at Slough....some mixed feedback but for the basic P1 they gave me an 350z-uk discount to £140. They did my P3 last year and i didnt have any complaints. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  15. Colour will be popular and nice looking rims from the small photo. As above I think you can drive a very hard bargain on a JDM. Credit crunch etc I dont imagine customers are lining up for them - have a good haggle!
  16. That looks ideal guys. Will add it to the shopping list with Phil.
  17. Not long until my next service due... has anyone used an uprated oil filter for the Zed? Had a little look at these: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... od=HP-1008 Cheers

    some new pics

This one is awesome! Good work.
  19. Arr interesting. Dont know much about them...but want to find out more. And if it already exists, why dont we get one!
  20. Agree with many of the things said here, obviously the car remains awesome, but it would be great to see Nissan bring out a more focussed version. Loads of other manufacturers have managed it.....Renault Trophie / Focus RS / Type RR / Lambo Super....cant spell it / even the special addition Boxster. Ingredients would be simple, cut the weight, little lower, bigger brakes. anyone from Nissan on the Forum?!
  21. Yeah understood - that is why you would need someone else to hold the fully comp policy on the Zed. Have you thought about some form of trade insurance? May have to set yourself up as a trader tho!
