  1. What are the ball park prices for high flow cats? Assume there is no difficluty in swapping them out i.e. whole exhaust doesnt have to come off
  2. Considering some reviewers say getting 22mpg out of the base model is difficult, you need to be able to afford the £50k price to keep it fueled up.....and be a share holder of your local dealer come service time.
  3. To be fair, points for effort. Especially the second one!
  4. Ouch - cross that option off the list then! Going to take a look again tomorrow to see what I will do. .....If only I could shake the car upside down!
  5. Hmm getting more and more interested in new lights now....must resist temptation! Anyone know where I can get hold of the 2007 onwards Xenons....the revised ones? Its the drivers side headlight BTW.......
  6. Hi guys, Managed to have a mare tonight So my front indicator bulb stopped working...when checking the connection managed to knock the bulb into the headlight housing.... Some searching on here reveals that the bumper has to come off to get the headlight out. Made some attempts to rescue it with a long piece of wire with some sticky tape on the end. Typically, no luck getting it out. I needed to drive home by which point the bulb has worked it way to the bottom of the light housing and in my enthusiasm to get it out have managed to scratch the reflective silver panel above the main beam bulb [its a gunmetal 2004 UK GT with Xenon's]. Does anyone know where I can get hold of replacement internal plastic pieces for the lights. Already planning on when I can get the bumper off - but never removed Xenon's before - is there anything I need to watch out for? Cheers
  7. Fit and finish looks poor....not on for a manufacturs kit. Sure the dosh could be very well spent doing tweaks to the standard car if you wanted. Spacers are mandatory too!
  8. I'm keen for this. I did a fantastic cross London run with the MR2 Owners Club. Started at the Ace cafe, then through a few London tunnels, stop at some famous places for photos, then over to Canary Wharf / Grenwich for the tunnels.
  9. Heard Hi-Flow Cats reduce torque, any truth in that?
  10. Both are good prices imo Nissan Shepperton has a similar GT4 [yellow] on the forecourt. Last month it was on for £18,000. Now down to a still optemistic £16! http://finance.autoexposure.co.uk/class ... 539_1a.jpg
  11. engine will burn more fuel when it's very cold - less efficient start up. Once its warmed up could be slightly better as cold air is indeed more dense.
  12. Is there a minimum ride height in New Zealand?!
  13. I think it looks spot on. TDI have a nice looking garage too. DOnt believe there is a legal minimum ride height in the UK...Radical's and Caparo T1 are road legal with about an inch of clearance!
  14. Depressing for those of us with Zed's! At least this means I will be keeping mine for a long while yet!
  15. Could be something like wheels need balancing and aligning. If that doesnt solve it may be wheel bearings. Best to get it looked at sooner rather than later as it can wear through tyres in no time if alignment is a long way out
  16. Dont get me wrong, the Veyron is truley epic and it is great that they made it. The drag race this did shows how absolutely powerful it is, but on the track there didnt seem to be any hint of drama. I recon a spirited drive in the Zonda would leave you feeling like a bit of a hero - in the Veyron, like you were just along for the ride!
  17. Great work Si, I rate those . The car will look awesom in low light, v stealthly!
  18. Good advice though - have got more fluid on order from Phil
  19. Absolutely - especially as it only happens on cold mornings
  20. Thanks for the advice guys, just took a look and fluid is fine. I have only had it happen when it's cold too. Not long until new disks, pads, lines and fluid so hopefully that will sort it out.
  21. Just noticed that my handbrake warning light comes on under heavy breaking...handbrake definately not on though. Anyone else had this or could it be a faulty connection? Disks and pads being replaced soon chance that its a warning of worn brakes? Cheers
  22. Hi all, I am after clear bumper reflectors to replace the orange ones and a front number plate mount if anyone has them. Both for a 2004 UK car. Cheers I
  23. It will look awesome mate - keep saying I will get up to your neck of the woods so shall come check it out. Sure it will be an easy decision when you see some of the wheels first hand Look forward to pics once its done
  24. Having looked on the website Si, hard to tell the difference between their Satin Matt Black and the Charcoal. See if you can match this that I think looks like an awesome combo: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/download.php?id=2513 Whichever you choose, will look good
