    EBC Pads WARNING!!!!

hmmm this has got me quite concerned! Have EBC Redstuff and have been good for me so far - anyone got any bad expereinces of them on their Zed?
  8. As the above, make sure the car is in good shape and you will be fine. On your first few laps may want to leave the TC on as some of the faster camber changes can unsettle the car pretty quickly - will be fine but can be a bit hairy.....but thats probably why you have a Zed! Dont do what an RS4 driver did first time I was there.....embarassingly running out of fuel half way round!
  9. Looks like an awesome trip! I went last year and had a great time, despite the epic rain!
  10. Believe the top Recaro's are the ones fitted to RS4's.....which is nice
  11. Toughie - I would go the first but good point on the slippyness Out of interest, anyone fitted harnesses for track day use?
  12. Properly unlucky mate...carbon fibre would work very well with kuro black!

    What MPG???

Having had my lightweight flywheel installed, its definately helping the MPG on the motorway. Usually get about 28mpg now easy to get 30+ ............Performance and Economy.....
  15. Directly underneith the cats - near the front of the gearbox, so about centre of the car. I had mine on a ramp when I checked but it wouldnt be a problem to slide under when jacked up. In my experience use a trolley jack and axel stands as I certainly dont trust the standard boot jack to be as strong or stable...esp if you are underneith! You will see the sensor going in to the cat as its the only place on the exhaust has something plugged into it. Follow the wire back and there will be a plastic clip connector, this is the most common place for there to be a loose connection. Because its under the car, dirt can work its way in there. Good luck !
  16. Mine did when I fitted my NISMO exhaust. Got underneither, disconnected the sensors, gave them a wipe and firmly reconnected - solved the problem straight away. Hope its that easy for you!
  17. Black 07 GT Coupe - Canary Wharf yesterday
  18. Red interior lights would be cool - where to find them would be appreciated. Are they easy to replace the bulbs or does the whole assembly have to come out?
  19. So it seems we all want to reply to all with 'speak to Big Phil' Every so often I have a check on the website but no update yet, so Phil, when are we going to be able to check out your stock online and keep your order books full?! Have you got a catalogue of everything you offer? [obviously I want you to reply but I can feel my credit card getting worried if you do!]
  20. Thanks guys, will report when I have a few more miles under the belt. Car just sits feeling sorry for itself during the week, roll on the weekend!
  21. Some caring individual has cracked the black plastic number plate mount on my 04 Zed. Anyone have one or know where I can get a new one? Cheers
  22. Phil - Adam thanks for the quick feedback, much appreciated. I had to do a long drive last night [130 miles] most on the motorway. When I parked up, and the engine was idling out of gear, there was a distinct loose rattling coming from the clutch/flywheel. It hadn't done this before. Is this also normal for the flywheel or is there any chance there may be too much movement? With your technical expertise want to check that its been fitted properly. Anyone round London got a flywheel that I could compare notes?!
  23. Thanks for the tip Phil - is their any adjustment that can be made as I was expecting more noise accross the rev range but not just at low revs?
