  1. Right, the pics I took last night. Bit grainy as the camera isn't great in low light
  2. Decent meet up last night. Good to meet some other Zed owners too. Photobucket site is down for maintenance...so will upload pics later
  3. V impressed that you got >40mpg out of the GTI. I would be tempted to go back to one, maybe the anniversary edition with more power? Pretty much any of the hot hatch bunch fit into the budget, Megane, Astra etc etc. Audi A3 may float your boat, although likely to be older. Diesel 1 or 3 series coupe could be an alternative. In the current market, £15k buys a lot so you may need to be more specific!
  4. I want that lifestyle! Cant decide which I like more, the tank with leather or tank with tracks!
  5. I have 20mm eibach spacers on standard suspension (exact setup as the gunmetal photos above). V happy with them.
  6. Having discussed this at lenth with BigPhil on the phone before Christmas, I decided to go with Performance Frication pads on DBA disks. Not the cheapest, but very pleased with them so far. Have not experienced any squeeling from the pads - used to get some from EBC. While you are at it, some stainless lines are a must

    RIP S2000

Looks good but pity there aren't any Mugen bits on it to give it some more horses or grip
  9. I asked the same thing to Nissan when I got mine....sadly they aren't illuminated. They just put a bit of glow in the dark paint on them. Bit rubbish considering they wire in the window switch!
  10. Whiff of mid 90's Mondeo about it I think
  11. works ok with a BB Pearl...if thats any use
  12. Great value for a SS Nismo in my opinion - good luck with the sale Making way for something louder?
  13. Actually Martin - you should get that dealer to buy your zed...take your £20k and buy a new one!
  14. I guess Christmas is always a quiet time for dealers...but there is a difference between feeling bullish about new year customers and pricing an 05 at £20k is a joke!

    Snow

I can relate to that - work from home day, not even getting the Zed out!
  16. Family Guy - Awesome Stewie - Legend! Fact!
  17. alternativly if you are replacing it with something else, a dealer may give you a good combined deal on trade in/new purchase
  18. its a tough one - have a look for what similar cars are offered at...remembering a new one is now sub £20k. Perhaps £11-£12k? Bit of a guess really.
  19. And if not, get the dental floss in play!
  20. Sad news Neil - unless you can get a cracking deal on an alternative that will save you loads on fuel, I would try and hold on to it as the resale loss is likely to be heavy. That said, if someone really wants your car, they may pay a decent price...not many of those around in a recession though. Good luck with it
  21. I have seen loads of cars with adhesive number plates stuck to the bumper / bonet. Like MX5's and lots of classics. Providing the lettering is the right size, and the plate isnt rediculously obscured it should be ok.

    RIP S2000

True - if Honda made an S3000...like a form of jnr NSX, i'd be all over it. First time I went in an s2000 was amazed how absolutely tiny it is inside. Its smaller than an MX5 which is a feat!
