  1. +1 Awesome stretch of road. Miss driving round the 'deen. The South just cant match it!
  2. ignore that - saw that it is Front disk....
  3. Is that a front or rear disk? Did you put the handbrake on after the Ring laps? If so, the heat transfer from the pad whilst parked up could have damaged the disk I run DBA4000 disks with PF pads - my experience was that with just road driving, it took c.3000 miles for the brakes to feel at full strength - which really surprised me as I did the correct bedding in process straight away. Havent done any track work on them yet, but certainly havent seen anything like damage you have.
  4. I bought an all weather cover for about £120 - annoyingly cant remember the brand. It was designed for the Zed but isn't as tight a fit as the Nissan ones I have seen so I dont think you would have a problem with the spoiler. I agree with the comments above - not ideal for day to day use as it will be harsh on the paint. Very good for leaving your car if you go on holiday for example. Will take a look at the brand tonight....
  5. As a former Leicester local, some very nice roads around Rutland. Pity I cant make this meet...cant wait for Ace Cafe in October!
  6. Always wished those were an option on the Coupe - great looking seats IMO Good buy for someone
  7. Your Supra is definately a niche car, sure that there will be someone after such a tidy one. Welcome to the club and good Zed hunting!
  8. Local garage fitted mine for £50
  9. Got my Berks fitted at the weekend and complement the Nismo fantastically. Definately a rasp 4k-6k revs, but it sounds great. Adds great depth of sound to the mid range, made me think that I might even pop the original exhaust back on with them, should I want to raise some cash by selling the Nismo. All in all, a great product. Only time will tell, but interested to see if the noise changes as they 'bed in'. If you have a loud exhaust to start with, these will definately take it to another level!
  10. Standard ones from Halfords or ferry/tunnel terminal do the trick. I'm never convinced they do a great deal despite following instructions to a tee, but it would be unlucky to pick up a fine for not having them. A little glass cleaner will bring the sticky stuff off no worries
  11. Big Thanks to Sarah for arranging delivery / collection Cant wait to get them fitted this weekend - having a local garage do it as I dont really trust my axle stands to spend a lot of time under the car, is there any particular tips I should pass on to the guys fitting them?
  12. Had the alignment done no worries - http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk definately a good outfit and recommend them
  13. That is uber cool - great example of classic design that will always look great
  14. Unless you are going for some big power mods (basically FI) the standard clutch is just fine....unless you like doing a lot of standing 1/4 miles...in which case - go as strong as you can!
  15. It's been a while since I had my alignment done, did it just after putting my 20mm spacers on and the place couldnt quite get my sterring wheel set up perfectly straight. After a couple of return visits, lost confidence in them. I was recommended to try these guys: http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/ so going down tomorrow. Has anyone with spacers ever had any alignment issues?
  16. May be worth going to a dealer and see if they will do anything out of good will? A long shot but might offer something

    A Few New Pics

Those seats are awesome - great work!
  18. sounds like whoever did the service didnt put enough oil in it. I always check mine myself after a service, having once had a car massivly over filled.

    all new jag xj

+1 on that, 7 series, A8, S class all look very tame in comparison

    all new jag xj

Front half is all good - the back just reminds me of a Citroen C6 or the 5 series GT - but like the XF, im hoping its going to grow on me when I see it in the metal. Jag knows how to do a proper luxury interior too.
  21. +1 saw it at Goodwood. Assumed it was a promotional car, not some form of special edition. Was nice to sit in the 370, and indeed my first look at one in the metal. Busy interior not necesarily a good thing, but overall very nice. Dont think I could be tempted in to one as a new car......the GTR that was next to it though.....
  22. If you find one of these - please let me know
  23. I went for an Apexi filter based on this test actually. Its not the loudest, but very happy with it. Was about £130 I think
