  1. It would technically void all the warantee if you read your booklet.... And judging by reading some posts of past owners Nissan have successfully not paid out on wtee claims where there are mods... esp if its big stuff... And by buying the car you have basically signed an agreement that you agree with there terms... They dont have to "prove" anything... Anyone that has gone up against them have been knocked back straight away due to their size and legal might... But if you go by these forums not much goes wrong with the cars anyway! But there is the other side where you may be unlucky!
  2. Care to share the cost and the people that did the work? Does look very nice

Dealers ones are good but you may find them cheaper on the web for original ones (or look in the for sale section on here for some lovely used nismo ones that need a minor repair )

  5. My girlfriends dad has a 46' hershine marine with twin volvo pentas (think they are 12 liter ones) and the first time we went out on it I thought I would do the right thing and offer to pay for the fuel then we stopped to fill up on the way out of the harbour...... He of course accepted with a smile on his face, I didnt have a smile on my face when after 15 mins the thing was still filling up!! With the smirk on his face he told me I could buy the beers instead and told the guy filling up to put it on his company account!! How much? IIRC it was about £1100...... Oh my goodness! That's like almost my car insurance for the year! You really do have to be rich to own a boat! Old saying.... If its fly's, float's or fooks, rent it.... Its cheaper in the long run!!
  6. Yeh, chillis do have that lovely set of volk challanges at a bargain price, you know the ones bulletmagnet keeps whining like a big girl about..... J/K Somehow think you will just be replacing one, not all 4... Unless Del Boy is looking for a new set! Sure someone will come to the rescue with a set if you cant get a replacement in time...

  12. Serious? Have you done this type of thing before? Its an easy job but helps if you know your way around the engine... If you have a socket set then sometimes you get allen key attachemtns, if not buy one that does have the allen keys attachments. There are also extension pars thus giving you more purchase on the bolt... Be careful when using as you are pretty fooked if you snap the head off a bolt... And also dont use the sockets to tighten the bolt when your done... One of the socket screwdrivers with the allen key bit in the end and a gloved hand is more favourable as you wont over tighten or just buy a torque wrencd that has interchangable ends to take the socket...
  13. Is there no westfields / caterhams / lotus 7's in that price range yet? Used the one at CAT Training and that was great fun to try and drift... great feeling with no roof and being soooo low to the ground!
