  1. Hmmm strange, a few people havnt had an issue with Mill Hill... Also, did you go down there and just ask to take one out? I didnt before I bought mine (didnt test drive any...) but have done since just to see if anything is different... Think if the sales man can see hes got the possibility of a sale then and there they will do anything! They dont or cant see you or your expressions on the end of a phone! Also, I know its a bit of a trek but the best place to talk to is Marshalls in cambridge, sell more Nissan Sports cars than anyone one else in the country and will find you what ever you want.... Oh and their support is second to non as they are now one of the shiney new GT-R dealerships!
  2. Sorry mate, where is the damage? I know you said passanger wheel arch but where exactly? bumper side or door side? If you got a pic from further away it may help.... Also... Just from the pics, too me it dosnt look like rust, it looks like someone has scraped it pretty hard... Was the car in a garage? Have you just spoken to the dealer or have you spoken to NMGB CS direct? I belive you can request for someone from NMGB to visit you to check the car, just dont leave the car at Nissan as they will charge you storage.... I think some on here will remember the "pully problem" from a few years back.... Just having a search for their number so you can call them direct just for clarification... Also.... Has your car got any modifications? This will / could invalidate your wtee... no matter what they are... Also to clarrify this vehicle was supplied to you by a dealer. If that is the case, your contract is with them and not NMGB or any other party. The exception might be if the car is financed, in which case it *might* be that your agreement is with the finance company - you'd need to check but, if so, they may well have an interest in this case.
  3. I take your word for it, coz really dont want to hurt me zed , but so want to go, trying to get the girlfriend along to this one, as she dosent see the big thing with it, but is a fan of the zed, so who knows, if she can get it off work, will be a good one Off Topic: You will just have to get her to get out of the car if it does get bumpy and walk as you could do without the extra weight lowering it... On Topic: Howabout forming a Zed somewhere, plenty of hills about to get a shot from above?
  4. If only scaramanga hadnt died on that Junk he would have loved that offer!
  5. Think you will find the spaced that Abbey Motorsport use are the same or visa versa as the ones that Alex sells... Alex, if you have any of these I think I could do with a couple and can get them fitted when the car is with Gary next week....
  6. if its got a motor, dont pull it as there will be teeth somewhere on the motor that will open and close the door. I would wait for a bit for someone to come along that has this type of setup to let you know how it works. It could be that its got no motor and its just jammed slightly..... if so, a little wiggle from side to side (the door, not you, but please feel free to do so if you feel that way inclined!) may free it. It also may be that its been left for a bit and the coil spring at the top just needs a bit of help. I have one without a motor at home that I can try later if you can wait! Mark
  7. It may be the japanese one that has the mororised door, but IIRC it didnt work on a remote button press, it works on a button press in the car or on engine on.... Is it a UK or an import? Any manual as there could / should be a way of opening the door with no remote.... A pic of the dash may help Mark
  8. Non bose on a UK car does
  9. +1 Oh alright, I'm 'Maybe' too! +3.........
  10. you will need to remove the knob to get the centre off. Lift up the gear gator, get a pair of pipe grips and grip around the base of the stick, not the knob, clamp them tight. Remove the ribon connector from the AC control. Get another set of pipe grips and put a cloth over the gear knob and then unscrew, making sure the pipe grips on the base DO NOT move, your turning the knob not the stick.... Also remember, leftie loosey, righty tighty! You may find that you mark your knob if your not careful... Once knob is off and the 5 screws from the centre console are removed, 2 forward, 1 ashtray, 2 aft, lift the centre console up from the back and over the hand brake, watch the front bit against your screen and also if you have the phone holder in the rear cubby you will need to unclip this. You will also have 1 loom clip for the hazard lights (and another for the heated seats if you have them) And that should be that! M
  11. have you got an aftermarket HU in the car? As I dont think the stock one has a sub out..... You will also need an amp to power the sub, and the power cable will need to run from the battery, through the firewall and into the amp... The compartment will have the bracket to receive, but it may need a MDF ring making up to make the sub fit nice and tight...
  12. Drilled the engine cover and fitted to that with 2 bolts... Will come back to you on the price as someone already expressed interest....
  13. From Pi-thon but I dont think they are still around... And I think these have sold already even before I have put up my parts for sale list!
  14. Yep! You can either have it at the front as shown or move it to the rear of the engine bay...
  15. yep, would need fitting to the back of the engine bay, or where I had it attached to the engine cover and use longer hoses....
  16. Saw kenwood are doing a nice new 10" sub... (just on the size, my 10" JL almost falls through the hole... need to tie a scaffold plank to its ass.... sorry old joke!) its a slim line one and has good reviews... KFC-WPS1000F
  17. Nice one mate Great feeling hey!
  18. I may have a spare 5zigen one going soon! It dosnt fit on the left side of the engine, but fits on the CAI tube on the right!!
  19. Nice one! Good job you havnt got a silver car!!! Hope your fitting yourself, it was a very easy job! Also, did you get braided hose and hose ends? If not, give Earls a shout.... http://www.earls.co.uk/ if you tell them your taking your car on a track you may get a wee discount!! No Mark,TDI North are doing it.As for hose I wanted to go braided but they advised against it so I went with black samcos. How so? Any reason? I got the braided line that are heat and oil resistant.... Lots of guys running them in the states... and also... Didnt realise that samcos were oil resistant, but just searched and found they do an oil resistant version !

  21. Correct me if I am wrong, but in Japan if the car is a turbo from the factory then thats fine, if the car isnt then you cant, which is why they tend to tune the cars N/A? Which is why you dont see (m)any imported 350z turbos.... But if thats not the case, then am with Mike on getting it done on a car here, as you may have problems that will cost you more than getting the FI fitted over here....
