  1. Has anyone called Envy to check which ones they have?
  2. Hi, If its a UK car with a nismo kit then it will be an aftermarket add on (either by Nissan UK or the owner) Most wont have all the Nismo accessories (ie not bodykit but suspension, brakes, engine mods etc etc etc) If its an import it may have Aftermarket kit again with out all the bits. Nismo ones do come out of the factory and am pretty sure they have a code on the VIM (Can someone confirm...!) These will come with all the nismo extras, and yes there arnt many about... And yes, all Nismo bits are available as aftermarket add ons.... just beware they all went up in price recently due to ex rate and Nissan putting up the prices.
  3. I use this site for my kenwood http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/subscription.php And going on other updates for satnav HU's etc, yes you have to pay for the updates
  4. Isnt there someone on here thats big into Sim Racing? Seem to remember it in someone sig? If its not on here then its the other site.
  5. Nah not a bad idea!!! If you keep the grill in the CS rear bumper and then set the fog back slightly then you may get the effect your looking for I just wonder about the effectivness!! If I can find a fog light somewhere then I can try and give it a go!
  6. It wont be a perfect fit... I looked into this on mine but the 370 fog is smaller than the apature... Dosnt mean you cant fit a fog behind the apature though... But the 370z fog will be loads more than one to do the job from halfords..
  7. How about forming some of your own using a lost wax mould and then polishing the final product or perhaps look in the yellow pages for someone that has a CNC machine and does custom work? Other alternative is to find something from the scrappers?.. Or..... Paddle shifters off a gaming steering wheel? You may want to have a look at some of the sim racing forums / sites (Hows this? http://www.bhmotorsports.com/article/155) as you may pick up some ideas from them?
  8. The size of the fricken discs and calipers on the mansory cayenne.........
  9. Woooohhhhhhhhhoooooo!! Bigger one!
  10. Nice one mate. That was quick! I ran mine from the odb2 to the camp2 behind the dash, there is a hole that is already there What other info is it giving out and can you set alarms when you reach certain temps / limits?
  11. double post............. grrrrrr
  12. Big one at the front is rad expansion "bottle" One behind is the powersteering "bottle" One in the middle is Window washer!! which one did you think was the aircon?
  13. RS*R Sports I coilovers, Nismo Antiroll bars on mine and cant fault either of them. Sports*i's are 32 way adjustable so can be set up and tuned to meet your needs and requirments. Anti Roll bars are about 25 to 30 mins as long as no issues removing blots. coilovers are about 45ish mins per corner, no idea on drop links but cant be long. Then you have tracking and adjustment that will take about another 45 mins to an hour... Also depending on if your dropping the car or running 19's you may need to consider getting some camber arms as the stock ones wont give you the adjustment you need... Also Tein do a nice set with a funky EDFC so you can control the dampers on the fly. Think a few people run these. As an alternative to CS, ENVY can also get kit (PM Chilli Red on here). Zmanalex is doing a GB on the drop links at the mo. Mark
  14. From further research I have done on the engine mods, the upgrades to zorst / manifolds / CAI make the car more free flowing, which will lean out the air / fuel mix. To richen this up you need a piggy back or a way of increasing the mix... Job done! It may not be that the ECU is stopping them, more that the ECU cant up the injector / flow due to limits set... after all running more fuel meens the consumption changes and thats not good for emmisions... Just to quote some more research.. "Many times, people make very good modifications to their engines, but then find they have less power than they did before. This frequently means that the fuel mixture has gone off because of the modifications. But when you take that badly running car and straighten out the mixture, it becomes a whole different type of animal. " Thats why some of us are getting O2 sensor warnings cause the mix is too lean..... !!!
  15. I had a mega panic moment in my car becasue of footware - not mine though! Laura was driving the Zed, in flip-flops. She managed to get her foot/flip-flop wedged onto the accelorator when approaching a roundabout. Thank christ there was no one coming! You let her drive??? Hmmmm As the Range is in the garage again, my girlfriend is using the zed to ferry me back and forth to the train station.... been late twice due to not rushing for the train as I was standing around watching her leave the car park (The car does look great though!!! dont often get to see it being driven!)... Will also stand in her defence she is a great driver.... just a crap passanger!
  16. You need arch liners and just cause you have the nismo dosnt mean you cant have them. They will fit.. They can be bought from Nissan or get your self to a scrappers and find one with rear end damage. Too much around those areas to run without arch liners... esp in the uk... Have you got an under tray too? If not I suggest you get one whilst your at it... Lights... One way to dry them is to get some of those little silicone bags that come in handbags and brief cases that get thrown away, open up the lights, remove the bulbs and place these inside (in a place you can just pull them out!) this may solve your damp issue, but your lights will already be damaged by the moisture. It may be worth getting them to paul for a repair. Also cause you have had loads of water swishing about around the lights your problem could be anywhere.... it may not be bulbs and it could be wiring... The lights are pretty water tight but, and I am not saying this is the case, but as your car has a nismo and no front arches then it may have been in a little prang, bumper replaced, but not headlights cause they loooked ok. There may have been a little crack or split and now water has got in... A bit of freeze / thaw action over the winter will have opened up the cracks more... To help out I do have a spare set of UK lights which I could loan you (you would need to pay for the insured p+p / collection both ways and I would also need a hefty deposit refundable on lights being in the same condition as when they left me), you could then send yours to Paul for repair and put mine on the car whilst they are away... Or paul may have a set he can send you as a loan for the same purpose. Let me know if I can help, Mark
  17. FYI, If you do, and you get in an accident then make sure you put your shoes back on before you get out of the car... According to a mate in the know, its not legal and insurances can stop payouts.... Dont know why... I would say driving in bare feet would be less dangerous than driving in high heels...!
  18. I dont know.... thats sounds quite fun
  19. Pop charger comes with a heat sheild and looks like a nice made bit of kit.. In the future you may want to get a CAI pipe and then cut a hole in your bumper to fit a scoop... The typhoon comes as a kit with the chrome tube, heat shield box, bumper scoop (no cutting required) carbon lid... So costs in the long run are about the same. PM Chilli Red (Envy) as they have the pop chargers in stock here in the uk. M
  20. If that's what you like !! Nope... Bigger! I want the whole car... Like this
  21. Typhoon without the carbon lid / housing Typhoon with the carbon lid / housing Advantage with the typhoon is that you get the chrome pipe, and a scoop that fits down into the grill area.....
