Boot partition is called a Tonnau Cover. Either from Nissan or another user this site makes them. Have a look in the forsale thread. Once its in no need for the tinting unless you want to use the space just behind the seats... I had a quote for £125 for a limo tint just for the rear the other day but I think thats a bit much... If you speak to Andy (PM him on here) you can get an aftermarket TPMS system that is an aftermarket fit. Additional sensor valves are available to fit so you can have them on your different wheels. Mine isnt fitted yet, was going to be today when the wheels were done but this has been postponed a few days!

Used Car Roadshow - 350z + £20k for a Porsche?!?!
3FIDDYZ replied to maestegman's topic in 350Z General
Found the coxster's driving position to be awful... but the S has got a lovely engine. Gayman is 100% better for not a lot of money... Best bargains in the porsche discoutn bin I have found to date are the 996 Turbos.... 27k for a 2000 model... I know you have higher service costs with higher mileage but lovely car! -

You can pic up the nissan birdview sat nav kits but the UK ones dont come with DVD. And most people that have them think that aftermarket is better. No, no need to change speakers (but worth it cause the the stock ones are crap!) Unless you have the Bose but then I still dont think you need to... As an alterantive have a look at the kenwood KOS system as you can use one of their 7" screens in the cubby, then the media centre fits in the rear cubby (behind passengers seat) and you can then add the bluetooth, DVD, ipod, satnav etc as you wish as its all modular and easy to get too.... The 7inch screen will need some modding to fit, but it is a touch screen... Or you could use something like dcash did and mod a portable media device bought off ebay. Lots of functions for the money

Ah! Thats where I saw them too! Was just going through my favorites!

Yeh, it was from Pi-thon but I think Dan tried to get hold of them the other day and cant seem to get hold of him... There was a guy on my350z that had a set up for grabs recently. Also, zeetoys used to be a distributer for them. Not sure if they still have stock... M

Yeh, there is a big air vent right above the air filter so the carbon hood would stop air flow and also because of the vents it may be a tight fit under there! Temp at the airflow sensor sits at about 100 at idle and then drop to about 70degs when moving so nice and cool. Need to try fitting the box again to see if there is a difference! Doh, i can see the vents now in one of your pics The big one on the right

Lol!! It was you gassing that stopped us!! Really?? I could have sworn it was the Bacon & Sausage sandwiches and Yum Yums that you two were scoffing! Hmmm could have been! I did notice the slight dab of saliva in the corner of your mouth whilst you were watching!! But you were offered! Always a yum yum and a bacon sarnie for you when you want one mate

Thanks for clearing that up Adam. There was talk that TD zorsts lost power but guess you have lots of experience in this area

Well this weekend I have been mostly...... Polishing! Dan Dan the polishing Man (dcash, cheers buddy) came over to give me a hand polishing any metal in the engine bay that was dull or had a machined finish. Still got some bits to do and bits to add, but its getting there... Just need to do something with the timing cover and then a full cleanup. Just thought I would share a few pics :blush2: Not sure what the throttle body is supposed to do (!!!), but its changed the exhaust note, a little deeper and louder.

Think there is one or 2 people over here with the HKS. Big seller over in the states, great piece of kit, but beware of imatations on the web, there are a few fakes about... Oh and careful with using these if your using hiflow or decats, you may loose power... but with decent or stock cats you should be fine.... What sort of noise you looking for?
-
I have a vented bonnet on my car with a K&N typhoon (without the box it comes with) and mine has been fine, no problem been through snow and heavy rain. Infact the air temp is alot cooler as a result and thats a big + Mark

PM Andy on here... he knows of one!
-
Told ya!!! I know know how you feel mate . I think IIRC we used some washing up liquid on the said hose and with brut force and a few sets of pliers managed to get it on.... Have you jacked and taken the arch off?
-
Nice pics, did Mike take them?
-
They are a bit of a pain in the ar$e to change. We syphoned off the contents into some other recepticals and then removed the OEM's. Then moved the hoses to one side still upright with fluid in. Apart from draining the system you will get a mess! Best to have some more steering fluid ready for when you put the new ones on. Worst one was the PS bottle with the 2 holes. One was a major pain in the butt to reattach, lots of scraped nuckles! But worth it in the end! Mark

+1 chris... thats where my ICE / sub power cable goes through, so its the easiest route....
-
Funny enough I only have 1 in at the moment and have to do that!! Mine are off being templated for the ones Envy will be selling! Oh and there will be an adjustable option for front and rear available too, made in the UK and a perfect fit for both OEM and aftermarket bonnets and boot hatchs...
-
Why the point on the TD? No proof that these loose power on an NA infact the opposite!!! Oh and the all show and no go..... Havnt seen many posts on your build.... Love people that are pretty much stock that have an opinion on other peoples cars... ! The fact that he has displaced weight by using a carbon hatch against his ICE build and upped his chassis with some pretty good kit prob means he can still get round a track as quick! And course its a show car.... If he had wanted a track car he would have stripped the fooker... Anyway back to craigs post.... Mate great car, great parts, great work ... fittment looks spot on and the colour is Can see a few similarities too you been looking at my planned list!!! Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh as I am sure the pics dont do it justice! Interested in reply to chris's Q about the dash airbag! Photoshoot sometime???!!! Mark

If you give envy a shout in a few days they will have a replacement kit. Not a hard job. Bottom bracket ball joint dosnt move, its pressure fitted, just remove the screws... Oh and careful... the boot weighs a tonne!!1
