  1. I use a guy in Leyland who used to work for tdi: http://www.grinspeed.co.uk/ Very reasonable labour rates, and he works as a race engineer for ford so knows his way around a motor. If you wanna travel to Warrington, there's tdi North who are very good, but usually have to wait a few weeks to get booked in. They're busy as hell.
  2. It's worth more than that in parts! Sure it'll sell rapid. Good luck with the sale
  3. Not much more I don't think. The LS2 is lighter than the DE engine with twin turbos according to MY350Z.com members. It's an aluminium engine, so relatively light
  4. I'd love to put an LS engine in my car, that would be sweet! Just wish there was a decent reliable conversion kit. . .
  5. I think it's irrelevant if it's fake or not. Either way, someone's spent time to make an abortion of a car
  6. Some interesting stuff being wrote here, and it's clear there's a few people on the forum who are knowledgable re evolution. I was brought up religious, and don't follow any religion now. My Mum is still religious, and refutes evolution, one argument being because of the missing link(s). I readily accept that species adapt, which I don't view as evolution per se as they adapt within species. Even the bible says this can happen. Is there actually a gap in the fossil record? If so, how do evolutionists argue this? And Zedrush, if they seriously left because they didn't belive in your views then they are strokers. People should be able to belive whatever they want, for whatever reasons. As long as your beliefs are not harming others, who cares.
  7. Wish I got paid to climb trees! Mind you, I still blush when I get my paycheck. . . Sounds like the one you found will be good. I've heard the 07 models have lighter steering and clutch, might be worth test driving both to see if it makes enough difference to you. £1500 doesn't sound like much difference to me tho, I'd prob opt for a newer model and save the money you would have used for a remap etc.
  8. Surely if you wanted to shift your car you could expect about 10k? You'd lose less on that in the next few years than the depreciation on a more expensive model And just cos your car is older, doesn't mean you will get problems. Some people's clutches go at 20k But when I get the bug to sell a car, it doesn't go away until I get rid. I agree with other comments tho, getting one that looked the same but costs you £6k doesn't make much sense to me.
  9. You're right, some earlier cars weren't registered until 07. Nice looking car tho - enjoy
  10. It's the same as the middle one, with different skin patterning. They're Chinese Crested Hairless rats, and only have hair on their paws, tails and heads. Apparently, they were bred like that as they were used to hunt rats on ships, and when the sailers ran out of food, they didn't have to pluck the hair off before cooking. Not sure if this is true, maybe Lexx or Martinmac will know Proper ugly dogs tho, I'd need a pretty spicy chilli sauce before I considered eating them
  11. ahhh! Thanks for that. Back to the drawing board. How long before you publish your next plan
  12. I think you'd look great walking him in your local park Stew
  13. I should have said I'd trawled that one, and the Silver threads etc, but I think the pic I saw was on an obscure thread, like a fake Nismo thread where a customer has bought the product and put a picture of what they did with it (if that makes sense). That V2 thread is awesome tho Anyway, here's my contribution to the thread
  14. And for those who can't/can't be bothered to look at videos, here's a pic My Mum's get a pack of dogs as well. I know Martin Clunes says on his advert 'no matter how good the pedigree, you're still living with a wolf', he's obviously not seen my Mum's dogs:
  15. Hi Husky, Feel free Nick obviously wanted to air his concerns, which he has done. I've simply put my side across as well. What hit are you suggesting we take? Best Regards, Gaz I think not charging labour costs twice would class as taking a hit - a lot of garages would have charged for the extra labour since the garage (Envy) didn't supply the faulty flywheel. Just sayin.
  16. Yes I have spelt it right as Nizmo is a kitten, and not a Nissan performance part (slight disappointment). I know you guys like pets so thought I'd show off the new kitty. Shorter video: he was trying to chase his own bell for about an hour. A bit of a longer video for those who are interested: Nothing particulary interesting happens in the vids, but it's a bit better than a photo, and how cool is it that my front room is on the internet!
  17. This one? No, the pic I remember was in side profile, and was a silver V2, with black/red canards and a black strip at the bottom, but also had red sections on it. It looked pretty awesome in my opinion, but can't find it anywhere now. . .maybe I imagined it. . . Thanks for trying to help tho Mark
  18. Sorry to make another post that will just end up being deleted, but does anyone have a picture of a silver Nismo V2 with black and red highlights on the bumpers? I saw it on my350z.com a while ago, and have trawled and trawled for hours to find it again but can't. Would be awesome if someone had it saved on their computers - seems a waste to start a thread just for this request tho
  19. I'm 26 and look well over 30, hard paper round, probably why I've never really been pulled
  20. Oh, and if you didn't get any paperwork and he didn't tell you that you were going to be summonsed, cautionning you, then procedure hasn't been followed. Got to enforce the law whilst adhering to the procedure required by law
  21. I love discussions about stops by police, interesting to see people opinions and experiences. Also interesting to see why people think they have been stopped. I can see why people are pulled coming out of pub car parks, and when driving a car obviously not registered to them (wonder what made him check the registered keeper to begin with Liam) but can't see the obvious merits for pulling someone for number plate spacing, but them I'm not a traffic cop so don't know how much of a problem it is. Sometimes it's just a means to an end, a reason to pull someone who looks like a scrote - no offence Liam, I've never seen you Number plate spacing may be a petty law, but so it dropping litter and cigarette butts in some people's view, but if you get caught you get caught. It's not the police's fault, surely the blame lies with either the law makers, or the person breaking the law. Just my opinion
  22. Smart looking install, looks very stock
  23. My Mum's husband proposed like you did, and my Mum said no until he did it properly on one knee. So when she went to the toilet one day, he went in the bathroom and proposed on one knee in front of her And yes they did get married. I'm sure your missus prefers your proposal Anyways, congrats
  24. He's the coolest kid in the world! He does that pretty much perfect, which is amazing
  25. Think I'd have heard yours if you gotta K1 I think the kit was a Nismo V2 with black around the bottom edges. Suspect it was someone who was going or coming from TDI North
