  1. thats not good ! with a worn synchro I would expect swarf to be floating around in the gear oil damaging the other gears/parts, that is why I would demand a new unit and it should not be showing any signs of wear at that mileage regardless of how it was driven within normal use Hope you get this sorted, I dont see how they have a defence, it's hardly "normal" wear tear !!
  2. everything tells me that shouldn't work but it does
  3. Seems quite expensive, might try this: http://www.amazon.co...3SJC6BF7CG07J0F looks good flex, i've got plastx but the fogging returns in a few weeks on my clio headlights, i've machined them with my da then rotary and got them spot on, just cant find anything that can seal very well
  4. They easy part is cleaning them, the difficult part is sealing them afterwards otherwise all you're Hardwork disappears rapidly as the fogging returns
  5. Easy the loudest one I can afford! :-) Still thinking Ark Grip tho I think I prefer the 350z mirrors too I'm liking the ark myself but then I think invidia with a set of hfc's is similar money and probably nicer sounding ... Choices choices !
  6. Can I ask, what mileage is the car on now ? I'm hoping this is an isolated case and good luck getting a new box, I certainly would not want a repair
  7. I put 15mm spacers all round on mine, and h&r springs lowered by 30mm, made a big improvement in the stance and the h&r were just as comfortable as the oem springs And changed the caliper colour to red, iirc yours is a c4 ? Which will be black calipers Food for thought
  8. Is the z so good because the glass area and angles I wonder ? Ps. You should start a build thread chromatic to catalogue everything in one place
  9. awesome work, what does it sound like ?
  10. I'm sure something will be confirmed in the next few weeks. Neither myself nor Jay are desperate to complete this asap. "All Good Things..." ha this doesn't work on for this thread congrats ....
  11. I like the invidia with the titanium tips are you back yet ?
  12. it's broken when you accelerate does the engine knock and the oil light come on ? this was also an optional extra
  13. I wouldnt worry about this. Now ive actually got a toddler and need to use these spaces, i notice that 9 times out of 10 that the person parking in the child & parent bay doesnt have any kids with them at all. +1 and the disabled are usually just over weight !

  17. Low fluid will be down to the pads being low, so the pistons need to go out further requiring more fluid from the reservoir Iirc the handbrake can double as either low fluid or the pads have got to the wear indicators Its all related to low friction material on the pads Keep the fluid level correct, it's easy to syringe some out when you get new pads
  18. And there back!!! :scare: :surrender: I thought that was his sig
  19. People have had good results from adding molyslip to the gearbox, Clark sells this aswell, I did my Clio last week and it's definitely better for it
