Have been thinking of doing a long weekend over to North Italy some time during late Spring 2012. Take a cheap flight over to North Italy and then hire out a Fiat 500 Arbath and go hooning around the mountains, stay in a few good motoring hotels, and getting a flight back to the UK. A few people have done this previously and it sounded a great idea. No idea of costs at the moment, but in principle, who would be up for this?

Have done the Italian Job and Switzerland amongst other Euro Hoons in Mini's back in the mid 1990's so any advice I would have is a bit out of date. Saying that, take a good toolkit with you and watch out for the Italian Drivers (especially the Vespa Riders who I have even seen reading a book whilst plodding along ). You will be fine. Enjoy
