  1. Or sell it, buy another Z and invest excess. Guy
  2. Personally I think autotrader is a scam. I've never heard of anyone buying a car they saw in autotrader for more than a grand or two. People buy it (me included) when sitting in places like an airport with f all else to do. With my last car, low mileage, the only calls I got were from people that saw it for sale on websites. The problem here is the mileage. It's a fairly recent mind warp that has got people thinking cars will die if the mileage is too high. The only manufacturer I know of that has issue with high mileage is Porsche. Engine requires a rebuild at 100k then it'll do another 50 to 100k. 350z problem has a good 200k in the engine if it's serviced regularly. Only a guess as we'll probably never seen one with mileage anywhere near that. If I lived in the UK and was looking for a Z I'd of bought this one for the original asking price without a second thought. Just had an idea. Search the web, find a few Irish importers and give them a call. There's a good chance one might take it. Guy
  3. Endlesssssss kool I'll be getting them when I need new soles on my shoes. Guy
  4. I looooooove the 430. Shame the servicing costs are insane. Guy
  5. Where as us blokes treat cars like women. Except in my case my female friends say "I treat Blue Pearl* better than I would a woman". (* I have a friend called Pearl) Guy
  6. You must be the only financially sensible person I know of. Everybody I know is extend beyond their means. Mortgage repayments on a house/apartment they can barely make, personal loan to pay deposit for same, car loan (instead of personal loan) they should never of got to pay for a car they cant afford to run and don’t get me started on credit cards they cant pay off each month. Most of them end up selling the car within a year. Having your priorities in order makes everything easier in the long run and you’ll have a Z on the drive again before you know it. Guy
  7. Of course I'd never buy one or reccomend to a Vauxhall anyone. If someone wants to buy a cheap, ugly piece of @*!# car I tell them to buy one with a 7 year warranty. Kia or Hyundia or whatever.
  8. I honestly believe the swirls are on the car as stock from Nissan. That could be down to how they wash or polish it when it arrives in the country as new Z's in the dealers have swirls. Going to pay to have mine removed. Guy
  9. Alas I live in Dublin so I wont make a meets soon. Might try for one in the summer and take in the Top Gear track while I'm at it. Haven't had a holiday in years now. I'm one of those people that's bad a taking holidays but then suddenly buggers off for a month. Two years ago I drove round the US in a Mustang. Before that I took a cruise down the Amazon and round the Caribbean. Before that I did Argentina, Antarctica and Chile. Think I can manage a short trip to the UK. Guy
  10. Hate Sky+ after having experienced TiVo, which I discovered was available in the UK some years ago and the subscribers to it then still receive it. Guy
  11. So few people I know have ever watched this show. It's a one of a kind. Highly entertaining. What’s the line? "You're getting married out of embarrassment" Guy
  12. Really? Just did a search on their site and google with part numbers and got nothing. I think the seller could easily provide more information. Guy

Nissan dealer told me last week (Dublin) that Nissan hadn't imformed them about the car yet. Anything they know is from mags and the web. Guy
  14. My car makes a noise sort of like a kettle boiling when I release the clutch. Sounds awful but I think normal. Guy
  15. Saw an advert for this during the GP this morning. Can it really be a safe car with a roof like that? Guy
  16. I know people that simply wont listen and put Fairy in the washer bottle. Sprays on the bonnet, windscreen, rubber seals, roof. Very bad for paint. Guy
  17. lol Looking forward to pics. I do like the Z in black. Guy
  18. This evening I saw a guy out side cleaning his car with a kitchen cloth to rub in what looked like green flash or fairy cleaner and rubbing it off with a shirt. Granted the car was a piece of @*!# old ford but he seemed to be taking a lot of pride in it. Guy

I’m itching to get behind the wheel of one. As soon as there’s a release date I’m booking a test drive. Guy
  20. Am I looking at that pic correctly? The bubbling is on the spokes and looks like water droplets? Bubbling occurs from under the paint. There's no "THIRD PARTY INFLUENCE" that could case that level of damage except if your alloys were repaired in the past. The corrosion Nissan refers to is for example rust that develops as a result of a break in the paint allowing moisture in from say a poorly repaired panel. Legally I would see this as a short battle, which you'd win, because of Nissan's official reply. Guy
  21. So is he implying he's a crap driver.
  22. True that. I was driving round like a wuss before I ID'd the error. Saved a fortune on fuel.
  23. First job is to reset it. My heated rear O2 sensor is still working but is out by 0.07 v which is not enough to bother replacing it. When it comes on again replace it. Guy
