Not to start an argument but I wouldn't call Northern Ireland plates Irish.

Parts arrived today. 30 secs to remove false floor in under glove box and get at wires which are taped back out of the way. 15 secs to plug in controler and secure to base of false floor. 10 secs to plug in cradle and secure into arm rest. So in 55 seconds I managed to do what Nissan would of charged me an hours labour for at approx €70. Plus they wanted €300 + VAT for the parts. Plugged in BT adaptor and :yahoo: "Miss me?" "Pardon" "Bitch" "Pardon" I'm so happy.

I did that. August last year I bought a 04 Z. August this year I traded in for a 07. Does sound better and the twin intakes make a lovely sound off throttle. At least I think that’s where the noise is coming from. Still thinking of Nismo exhaust though.

Been nagging people about this for years. The Z is ok though because of the self levelling ECU but will get hot sitting in traffic all day. Nothing to worry about. Seen Skylines running horrible mix as a result but run perfect after restoring stock air box. You can see some amazing modified Skylines in Best Motoring videos that run on stock air boxes. Sounds cool though.

To be honest I like the nismo kit without the spoiler. Just don't like the line of it. There was a pic on here some time ago of a red car with nismo front, skirts, spats but no spoiler. Looked very tasty. Welcome. Guy

I wouldn't expect depreciation to be massive with each engine being hand built numbers will be limited. I would also expect Nissan to limit numbers into the UK.

It could be McLaren simply had to let him go without penalty. If they really wanted him out like we all assume then most likely Alonso’s agent said either let him go without penalty or stick with him for another year. At least that’s what I would of done. Interesting and very diplomatic statement from Alonso. Perhaps he’ll be more of a muppet and make his true feelings known at a later date.

The story is coming from the spanish press. I believe they are currently writing that Alonso has quit McLaren. There's no doubt that Alonso wants to leave and it would be a safe bet to say the team want him out also but it will be in what circumstances that more takes place that'll be most interesting.

DTE is just a calculation based on your speed and fuel in the tank. I'm sure its a little bit more complecated than that. For example it's probably averaged. Anyway thats basically it. The fuel indicator itself isn't the best but I think it's better in my 07 than it was in my 04.

+1 was about the same for me too. So with the dte saying 53 miles left in the tank and for arguments sake will say you're doing 19mpg that means there's about 2.8 gallons in the tank. Guess that means I better start carrying a gerry can with me in case the light comes on. A little bit paranoid are we? Guy
