  1. Brian Griffin for pm Don't you mean Peter Griffin?
  2. You won't regret it especially the first time you go past 4000 rpm and hear the incredible sound they make.
  3. I did hear of one member who used a hairdryer to heat up the hinge and bend it accordingly in an attempt to make the cover fit better!
  4. And there's me thinking you were asking about the new Pilot Sports
  5. I thought the test computer informed them of vehicles with LSD's before they start the test.
  6. The 350 is more of a GT whereas the Cayman is pure sports car. By that I'm referring to the fact that the 350 is a better overall ride and would probably be a nicer car for long journeys. It's also quieter inside. The Zed represents excellent value for money and if you were to spec a Cayman up with the level of equipment the Zed has as standard you'd be looking at well over 50K. That really is where the benefits end though imo. The Cayman is such an accomplished car at all things, I just cannot fault it at all.
  7. I certainly don't regret buying mine. After a month of ownership, this is what I feel is better than my 350: Quite a bit quicker, especially the pick up at higher speeds. The steering is among the best for feedback of anything I've owned including a Lotus. Much less intervention from the TCS and consequently you can boot it out of bends harder. Sounds incredible over 4000 rpm and that's not taking into account the switchable exhaust mine has fitted. Build quality, obviously. Better on fuel by about 2mpg on average. The only advice I would give is don't buy one with 19's unless its got PASM fitted otherwise it will knock your fillings out. Mine has and its fine. The one I test drove didn't and it was way too harsh.
  8. Exactly what I've done. You won't regret it. Traitor! haha Yep - guilty but unashamed
  9. Exactly what I've done. You won't regret it.
  10. I booked a test drive with Wessex Cardiff over 12 months ago and I'm still waiting Too late now anyway!!
  11. A great place to be. Even ex Zedders such as Sarnie, Digsy, Lomoto and me can't resist staying around
  12. You are referring to two seperate issues here. Falkens are a reasonably good budget tyre but won't provide the ultimate in terms of performance when compared to MPS. So long as you fit the correct sizes and to all 4 wheels, the Falkens are fine. What you're referring to is fitting incorrect sized tyres that will compromise the stability and handling characteristics of the car.
  13. Probably frozen up. Mine used to do it now and again when it was really cold.
  14. Yep Lewis all the way. Can't wait
  15. Nissan don't spend millions in R&D for no good reason. As has already been said it will likely upset your TCS and in addition, could make the handing of the car unpredictable.
  16. That's a fairly bold statement to make. My Zed was my daily drive and I know of quite a few on this forum alone that also use them every day. Don't get me wrong, I agree entirely that they need to up their game if they want to take on the Germans, but for the money the Zed is still good value.
  17. I'll second that. About 15 - 20 when hot at idle and mid way ish from about 2000 rpm upwards.

    Tyre advice

Yes just bite the bullet and bin the Potenzas. The alternative if the car is likely to bite you
  19. The Generation 2's and generation 1 non-S are lower band, the Gen 1 S is same as the Zed.
