    ECU upgrade ?

I have spoke to Abbey Motorsport about this recentley and they are adamant that the HKS F-Con is the way to go - TDI also supply the F-Con. My preference at the moment though is the Turbo XS Utec ecu - I know that Baptist had this on his TT zed & I think Val also had it. At the moment im still trying to find someone that can map the UTEC.

    Looks great
  15. Totally unacceptable IMHO. Why aren't you banging the dealer's door down, they must know there are issues with some Rev-Up engines and oil - are they monitoring it for you or something? [i apologise if I haven't seen a thread where you have said that you have been to the dealers every day for the last 6 months, dressed as spiderman and have been holding his children to ransom since August ] Haven't had much luck with the dealer to be honest Dorian. They are of the opinion that it is within acceptable limits that Nissan define as being up to 1 ltr of oil consumption per 1000 miles. I would suggest trying a different dealer but the only other local dealer is Newport & they dont even know what a 350Z is
  16. For insurance give Greenlight a try
  17. LMGT4's in black were limited and only 18" Yes you can just stick 19's on without any issues, I did. No issues with brake calipers if you buy wheels with the correct offsets etc. Offset is how far they stick out of the arches. +18 is very aggressive and will be sticking outside of the car. +38 will be inside the arches and look pants, think Jag E-type. Spacers are used as a cheaper way getting the wheels to stick out more. EG a set of wheels with an offset of +38 may require a set of spacers to get them further of of the wheel arch. Ride shouldn't be any higher as even though the wheels are bigger, the aspect ratio of the tyres goes from 45 to 35. HTH Bloody hell, that must be your longest post this year! And his most informative
