There will be so little wax in the wash and wax, it wont make a difference, the polish will cut straight through it (if the polish is a true abrasive). Ideally, you would use something that will cut through wax to wash before a polish, like something with citrus in. This would mean the polish is working straight on the paint. All you are doing with wash and wax is making the polish break down the wax before it gets to the paint

Exactly. I've never found it a problem, my biggest problem is how much they ususally want for it. Anything you save in getting the tyres from elsewhere is usually discounted by them charging extorionate amounts to fit and balance - I've heard £20+ a corner before!

If you find a good tyre fitter they should have no problem. The garage I used to do mine (TGM Sport) advised me to get them from Camskill as they are cheaper than he can get them trade! Get on black circles and see who they have down for your area and pay them a visit

Leave mine on all the time too, unless on track, thats the only time you should be expecting to spin your wheels as you are near the limit. If you need to turn it off on the road, either something is wrong with your car or you need to learn better throttle finesse

I have a Kestrel and its great. From what I've heard its pretty much a Megs G220 but a bit more reliable and quieter. It did wonders on my Zed with a polish pad and some SSR2, finished with finish pad and SSR1 I really wouldnt go anywhere near a rotary unless you have some panels to practice on

So when ya gonna buy it? I agree that there is something to be said for the newer revisions, and its down to whats important to you and where you plan to take the car. Personally I dont feel its worth it for me over the older ones as I do so many miles and plan to make a few tweaks here and there. I couldnt notice that much difference between my 03 and the 08 I drove, but then again its all on the butt dyno and I have the plenum spacer which does add noticable umph mid range. Just about test driving them and seeing which suits you best
