First I knew of SP2 was Windows Update moaning it was ready to install. Win7 seems like its where Vista should have been at release. I wouldnt call it Vista with better UAC and UI though, it seems much slicker than that. But not a massive update I agree.

I give it about a month before you start modding. If we had a quid for every member who said they wont mod (probably myself included!) we'd not have to worry about running costs of the forum!

Tell them you need to bleed them all and in the correct order. When TGM did mine, we did it right and in the right order and it didnt feel right. Went back again and we had another bash and this time a bit more air came out. The Zed is a pig to bleed and it needs really quite a lot of fluid to flush out any air if there is some in the system. Unfortunately you need to just keep taking it back until they have it all sorted.

thougth it was a festoon the same as the dome lights inside Come to think of it I am wrong, and it is a sidelight bulb, and the reason I didnt change mine was that most sidelights are front facing and this faces sideways, so doesnt cast the light into the boot. Maybe thats why I thought it was festoon

I wouldn't call Leon a lesser car (I'm an ex Leon owner ), it has the same 1.8 engine as the Golf but on the Cupra R you have the bigger turbo, intercooler etc as on the S3. Yeah this is exactly what he's doing, Leon downpipe etc and the turbo from a 225 TT i believe. Then a remap. I'm an ex Leon owner too. Thats what made me laugh though, we know its not a lesser car, but funny that it should have better bits than the Golf! Guess its an easy upgrade path for a Golf as so many Leon owners upgrade their bits so it would hopefully work out cheap to get the bits for the Golf

As Gaz says, decent mid range gain, but I expect there is a little low end and top end gain to be had. Did they not dyno your car before doing the tuning then if the before numbers are from last year? Or is that just to try and get as close to stock number as you can? Also how does their dyno usually read? More conservative than others or more optimistic?

Major PITA! I too have destroyed my undertray and its now only held in with about 3 bolts. Putting copper slip on them helps but you might then lose them if they work free
