  1. Cherwell Valley Moto Services (M40 Jct10) would be better for some of us sotherners. I'm taking the A34 which goes the other side of Oxford to the M40. Cherwell is where you turn off the M40 to head up the A43 towards Silverstone. This to me is the best meeting place
  2. If looking for correction, I agree, but it just trying to get a good finish after a corection, I find SRP is great for burnishing the paint. It only has a slight cut, but most importantly fillers. On a car like mine with a few swirls left, it leaves a lovely finish with a bit of filling Very dusty though, but can be aided with a quick spritz of QD
  3. Make no mistake guys, ANPR can read any plate in any format within reason. As long as its using a standard font on the white plate it will be able to read it whereever it is on the front of the car. The OCR systems these things use are no simple, they take an image and get the plates from them, they can find them anywhere in the image (I did image regocnition and OCR at uni). And I see these systems purely as revenue generators as Chris rightly points out. They do not stop terrorists or motorists commiting crimes, except for those completely inept to understand what they do. Cloning plates is a piece of pi$$ in most cases as you can get them off the net. Unless a copper stops you they wont know its not legit unless they lookup the postcode of where it was made. Its all about stinging Joe Bloggs when he makes a simple mistake Although I do appreciate it takes compelete retards who have no insurance or tax etc off the road.
  4. Don't think so Chris, its John Bradshaw's car who currently runs Project GTST up at the pod. This is his latest project. Maybe give him a nudge in this direction if you speak to him, sure loads of members would like to see it when its up and running

  6. Dealers can possibly bed in proper high performance pads for you. You need a clear road where you can do about 10x 70-10MPH stops and then drive around using the brakes as little as possible for 10mins without stopping on the brakes. Theres no way you can do it during the day. Do it yourself and you know its done properly
  7. If I hadnt seen Martin with his roof down with the Nismo ECU, I have pointed at that! Does the flashy light give any sort of sequence? I'll go look in the Service Manual and see if it mentions anything.
  8. i thought that when you went off, next time i will come in my car or a friends car and take photos rather than do the route. Wanted to get some moving shots around corners etc, but by the time you lot got there it was lashing it down Oh well always JTS to get some more moving shots. You going to attend this year?
  9. Tescos is the best guys - clubcard pays for my Wales Run hotels Lovely 4* spa for free
  10. On the way to the evo triangle just after we left the service station, Richie shot past as many people as we could to get the pictures. Damn, knew I shouldnt have shot straight off to the triangle Next time, you and your lift can come straight there with me and Amanda and get some pics on the way and stop in a few laybys for better pics
  11. And lowering Is that chap a member on here too? I'm sure lots would be interested to see his progress

  13. When did you get all these pic Louis?
  14. Ahhhhh, decisions decisions! Is there a Macdonald hotel near by? We can get them for free with Clubcard points
  15. Thats what I've always been lead to beleive. Also that the first way gives slightly noisier braking
  16. The police said it was going to be a normal 3 points and £60.
  17. Wheres that then? Thought we all stayed at the Challet park place?
  18. Ask Dixon. A Stew posted, he found that on the Dixcel site they do have them that way around. Also I know from other manufacturers you can put some on either way round, yours being the more aggressive and noiser option. Dixon will clear it all up, PM him
  19. I didnt want to be the one to told him I pushed a bit hard on a spoiler or bumper
  20. Nope. That is the direction Dixcels websie recomend for the six slot discs. It's the 'Aggressive' direction. From what I've seen before, you can run slots either way with forwards (as Adrians) being the more aggressive, giving better braking but more noise, and backwards being quieter. Not sure if thats the same for Dixel.
  21. As Mike says, get it back and get it sorted. Sounds like they've torqued the wheels up incorrectly or wheels arent balanced properly. With brake fluid, it sounds like they've got air in the system which means they will have to bleed it all again.
  22. Didnt realise you were all booking rooms already Where do we go to book?
  23. 33km and dropping, Mr Mac you are in might sights
