Hi since I have had my 350z it has always been slightly slow when taking off to go into first gear, I think it's called stall speed, I can hit 5 thousand rpm! Now recently it has been getting worse and when stopping you can hear after about 10 seconds it shifting into another gear. Extreamly slow at downshifting. Car now sometimes gets stuck in 5 th gear at stop and start and this is resolved when I turn ignition of and on again. Very strange! Then the AT CHECK light flashes. About 3 months ago I put gearbox oil in as I leaked it out when I had the rad of. I think I put too much in, now I corrected the level of oil still same problem. Any ideas???

Hi, ive had my import auto off the road for a while now after replacing the radiator. After driving it it seems to have a problem. The problem starts when the car is in motion and im moving off (e.g roadhump). Once I accelerate out of it the revs will go up as if its in neutral and the suddenlt it will clunk into gear and lift off. If I come to a complete stationary position I can feel the gear change into 1st about 2 seconds after the car has stoped. It seems as if the cars being lazy and not changing gear fast enough when im slowing down. I have recently changed the gearbox oil..... could it be the amount Please help! :bye:

Im currently rebuilding my 350 z and have it now ready to respray... since my dad own a garage i dont pay anything fo rthe respray and ive been thinking of changing the color to white. Will this effect resale value? other than that im on two minds..! what do you guys think, if you have the choice to respray your whole car a different color for next to nothing but some physical labour...would you?

Right side of dashboard there's a card slot type mechanism, anyone know what's that for? Also in centre panel there's a plug coming out as if it were connected to the brain. Any 1 know? Cheers

hi , folks! i have a import 350z which i bumped the front on. Ive been looking for parts for such a long time i just decided to buy this damaged 350z with a good front end.Problem is its a uk model and mine is a jap import. The parts seem to be the same apart from the hedlight connections but i will wire that up with the uk plugs from the donar car... Does any1 know if i can take the brembo brake calipers off the uk 1 to fit on the import? oh and if any1 needs an engine, ive got 1! 42k on clock, all perfect.

My problem is without being able to move the car to my garage about 12 meters away i cannot get started, Have you ever tried pushed an auto 350z Its impossible lol. The car looks a whole lot worse than it is because ive taken off most parts. It drove home. My father owns a garage and after looking at the car has just told me to get the parts so he can jig and set the front. So any help would be most appreciated.

Hi , im new here and need some help, ive just started trying to fix my crashed 350z. i took the front radiator off and tried to move the car forward a little and didnt realize the gearbox oil is cooled through the radiator, all the oil leeked out as i tried to accelerate forward My car is a 2003 jap import automatic. I need to know how much gearbox oil I need, and a rough guide on how to change it. the dealer said its possibly called matic j but were not too sure and said i should comfirm first! Im also after a lot of front end parts so will be needing someone who either has any or knows where to get them.. Thank you!
