  1. Try a panel pot of Dodo Supernatural if they do them, you'll be more than happy to fork out the money for a full pot when it runs out
  2. Think you'd get Amandas vote with that one
  3. Yup, best bet is to see the print out. Or if you are that bothered take it to another dyno. Has it been said before what dyno was used? Is it always conservative with readings rather than optimistic? So many things could have effected it.
  4. I have just got a spare gear surround off ebay for £25 so they are out there Going to get mine trimmed, but will likely be keeping the original as well.
  5. I'd dare say some Caterhams are lighter than the Zed engine
  6. Nice one Ho, nice to see another DD SN convert The price does seem very high, but the results are very very good
  7. I'd actually wear those I actually have them Limited edition, cost me £279 Do they make you play any better then? Or are you just a tart?
  8. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning. (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Yup, as I said, thats not finding the limits, its just dicking about. Which will knacker your tyres as we all know. Driving properly should not. So the day should not shred your tyres unless you decide to do that yourself.
  9. Shredding up your tyres is usually a sign of bad driving tbh and not a sign of pushing the car, this is what the day is meant to teach you! Talk to any true racer and they will telll you about loading up the tyres, gently rolling on and off the throttle and brakes and this will stop the tyres braking traction so easy, which is when you will shred them up. I come from bike riding background where this is much more important but the principals are the same. As Ben pointed out, on his first track day, he was far too abusive to his tyres, turning in sharply, getting on the brakes too hard, and then getting on the throttle too quickly and hard. Since he has now learnt better throttle finnesse and steering, he goes far quicker and shreds his tyres a hell of a lot less. Sure I can go out and rag my car and destroy the tyres a piece of pi$$, the true art is going quickly and saving your tyres. Watch the guys that get the highest speeds on the track and they are the smoothest at car control
  10. Lovely car indeed, the rarest of the rare. All the best with the sale, its a cracker, shouldnt take long to sell
  11. Different camber settings would be my guess I believe mark is running a lot more negative camber than me You're just special then
  12. +1 - mine is still on OEM suspension and its fine. I have done loads of long journeys, not least 350miles to Sunderland in one go and 200 miles to North Wales 3 times for Wales Runs (do a search on here, they are awesome). Never had a complaint and the missus doesnt mind it either
  13. Damn it Ive already placed the order. Actually its not that much of a problem as they arent too expensive. Ill go with the JDM for now and if they do start to go tits up then I can always replace them with the ones you recommended. At least I wont have to change the cluster more then once. Thanks for the advice though mate! Wouldnt worry too much, I have had my JDM Performance ones for over a year now and they havent faded, although they could be brighter. Nowt wrong with them, I think Dan might have got some duff ones. Phillips ones will no doubt be better quality though, we know for future reference
  14. +1 this is the usual culprit
  15. No offence but I can see why they were discontinued
  16. Red reverse LED bulb - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2pcs-7440-7443-T2 ... 47680709QQ Silver indicator bulbs - http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=52189 Thanks very much Chris. So is it that Red reverse LED bulb that I use for the foglight I take it? Is LED bright enough for the fog light as someone on here said it was a bit poor? Forgive my stupidity. Thanks again. Sorry, I am a muppet sometimes and dont think what I am typing! That is indeed the fog light, not reverse light Its definately the one you want, I have tried loads from the same seller and that was by far the best. Passed the MOT with flying colours last Sept with it in my clear cluster
  17. Plus the fact they only show you a pic of the box and the seller has 0 (zero) feedback!

  19. I've heard the Zed can be a right pain. Seeing Tony and Martin W try doing his after replacing his hoses, it didnt look simple. Takes quite a few cycles of reving it to 3kRPM, letting it cool, bleeding it and repeating from what others have said. Saying that, it depends how much your time is worth. If you dont mind taking a while to do it then I think its quite simple, just takes time
  20. My thoughts exactly, I always try to drive away (always worked so far). Bit different if someone starts on you though and you can just drive away
  21. Yep http://www.craigsplates.com does these These are as close to legal as you will get. They meet all the specs, but the DVLA strickly forbid stick on numberplates as they used to have kits where you could make your own, and legislation now says you have to get them from a registered plate maker, so given you cant tell if these are self made or proper, they just outlawed all stick on plates. See craigsplates website for the details.
