Please dont listen to this nutter!
Get a trim removal tool off ebay for a couple of quid (search on here, been said plenty of times) and follow the service manual instructions to remove it. More often than not people break the retaining clips by "just yanking it"!
You could always top the Dodo off with some tech wax if you want the wet look back Thats the beauty of detailing, you can mix and match products to get the desired effect.
+1 - you need something with proper cut to it to remove it properly rather than just fill it. I forget what I have at home, but its 2 Megs products, one plastic polish and one plastic cleaner they call it. In reality, the cleaner has the cut in it, and the polish gives it a bit more shine. Proper stuff, it look some quite deep scrates out of my old mans bike lenses before when some numb nutt decided to scrape up his bike
Any chance you will be doing a teaser piece for a member so that they can verify quality. Dont want to sound like a pesimist, but those prices are a lot cheaper than what we are used to seeing (and rightly so!), just want someone to verify the quality. Sure you understand being the new guy, we might be a bit sceptical before dropping £275 on a bonnet. If they are good quality, I will be in line for sure
Valentino is the daddy. He never gives up, even if he crashes out. I remember he did testing with Schumacher at the Fezza test track and wasnt far off his pace at all. He wasnt interested in F1 though as he thought it was a bit boring. I want to see him give it a go as I think he will spank most of them
We need reminding of which shows to do. Theres so many we just dont know which ones to pick. I just wanted to do this to get more people interested in RC drifting as Amanda is going mad I dont use my RC car no more Maybe Envy should start selling them
£7.50 a ticket is a fiver discount for club members

Martin: HPI Sprint 2 or Hotbodies Cyclone are good bets. Both are available on ebay quite a bit cheaper than I got mine for! There was one for sale on here not so long ago
I only remembered the start because I saw your post! I somehow had the idea it was 3pm
Problem is I'm not around this evening to nanny the boat through, but I think I might have to be
What a last lap! Such a good battle, never knew who was going to win it right down to the last corner!
We need Valentino in F1, he'd show them how its done properly!
I help you hear. I have brothir in Nigeria with 09 350Z he wish sell. tranzfer the monies to my account or western unions and he ship the car to you strate aways!
I church man so you can trust me and my brothir.
thanks you!
I'll take it. When can you send it over? I have the money ready to go
Nope, no update Chris. They have been able to dump a couple of ECUs but no map that I've heard of yet. The sticking point for me is the potential trip up just to find they can only dump it. No mention of how we can tell if we are mappable out the box or not yet (based on VIN or anything). This is the main thing stopping me, I cant afford to do a trip just to find out my ECU dump needs to be sent off
I think we need to decide on where we are going to stay and then Bec can phone to check on availabilty
Amanda and I are happy with Moffat for the over night stay
With regard to not being able to see it, I find that the best thing to do is get close to the car and look across it, that way you should be able to see the paint is murky where you have applied the wax. It can be difficult sometimes to see it, but at least it means you arent applying too much!
As the others have said, you dont drop that much money going FI to sell it on, least not with a full writeup of where it was done, how much power, dyno sheets, evidence its had oil changes regularly. As advised, everyone stay well away.
And big thanks to the traders who fund this place, along with user donations. Much more than a forum its very much a community, and its all free, well done guys and gals
