  1. No idea Stew, I assumed it was just in a first class carriage rather than a standard one. Doesnt appear to be any first class available on the Friday though Maybe if you phone they might have some available.
  2. Yes, but will Amanada be OK on her own in second class
  3. Amanda would like to know if we are travelling first class?
  4. 2nd refurb? I kurbed them about 10days having them done last time cos some cut me up in Slough! In hindsight I shoulda let him hit me and claimed it on the insurance! Anyway, the laquer was rubbed through and they've lasted amazingly well given its been open to the elements! I'm just getting fecked off with them and fancy a colour change. My local place can do them for about £50/wheel if I go for a single colour - and I aint having polsihed lips again!
  5. +1 Liam has been owned by gay porn
  6. I think these can be easily enough found via google or PMing you. Theres nothing "potentially illegal" about it, its totally illegal! Unlike me learning how to play backups of my Wii games via HDD, so no need to carry game discs around no more
  7. Not that I know of. Just keep an eye on the Meets section
  8. I use Dan Perkins (WLMG) in Slough as its right by my office for servicing. For more major work I use Tom. I would use him more if he was closer, but DP are litterally with in ear shot of my office so its too convinient and they give good discount to the club I'm over the far side of town by the Hospital, but obviously working in Slough, I'm not driving around much just to and from work
  9. Crickey, what did he was that with, sandpaper?! Bit dodgy WRT the sticker too! Excellent work as ever sir.
  10. You bought a cracking car there mate, fine example of a Zed I'll keep an eye out for you around Blazingsmoke. I can recommend the A339 from Basingstoke to Alton for a good weekend morning hoon (before the tourists wake up!). If you want a bigger circuit, try Basinstoke to Alton, to Odiham to Hook, to Risley and back to Basingstoke. Watch out for bikers though
  11. +1 - need to know the dimensions, but most aftermarket 18s would be wider than stock. If they fit then its down to personal preference
  12. Great work, that looks excellent
  13. Indeed, and hats off to you. Refreshing not to get a million questions on how to do it, rather find and read the old thread and get on with it
  14. Ah, so these cross-dressing rumours are true then The things the admins/mods do for this site To those questioning whether you can sit on a domain name or not, you are quite right, you are not allowed to do this now. The wheels are being put into motion to take official action to get it back
  15. You do need to do your sums, but for me when the Zeds all started to depreciate so much, it would cost more to run a beater car than it would to just cut my losses and use the Zed all the time. Plus it gives me great pleasure taking it everywhere and getting looks and questions about it and the club
  16. Sod run arounds! My car does 75 miles a day, 5 days a week, and I have taken it from 26k to 72k in just over 2 years. Loving every minute of it, and its never missed a beat and always puts a smile on my face Depending on how long you want to keep it, a beater car might be worth it. But paying for a car (£1k), petrol (wont save you that much), extra insurance, tax, MOT, servicing (not a lot less than a Zed at an inderpendant), it can work out more expensive running a beater than a Zed, and you have to trash around in a shite car all the time! True they depreciate faster with more miles on them, but who cares, its all about the smile it brings you. My mate at work does the same milage as me, has a shite car, and has paid out over £2k this year for repairs. He gets just over 30MPG (about 3 more than me!) and his insurance is about £100 less. In the long run, I've spent about £1k less than him this year as even though my servicing is more expensive, I've had no major work required, even with replacing my brakes at £500! Do it properly, drive it daily
  17. Looks good bud, nice little mod, looks very swish at night with matching dome lights Glad to see you guys are catching on a year later viewtopic.php?f=53&t=12778 Didnt even have black seats back then
  18. What would a pro detailler do differently though? They'd clay it out too! Just need to polish it out afterwards! Well once he's clayed the car, it might end up getting covered in light scratches, so it would need machining, imo. I'd still give it a go and see, and if it needs a machine polish after, get a pro in. You can take out light swirls by hand with the right products, just takes a lot longer than by machine. Depending on where the OP lives, he might be able to borrow a members DA polisher, I know a few have one inc me
  19. West London Motor Group (wlmg, formerly Dan Perkins), Slough, arent far from you (about 30mins). They offer club discount and will sort you out. Mine is going in for a P3 with them tomorrow. They even knock money off for the fact I dont need by brake fluid changing nor my air filter. Give them a shout and tell them you're a member
  20. What time did you get there matey? I left for the pub with the MLR lot just after 8:30pm Glad you wasnt on your tod! Good to meet Buster and Mike
  21. Good to have you on board. We can go straight to the source for information now, like which ECUs you can have multiple maps on etc.
  22. The reason people use aftermarket EMS is purely because its known by the tuners. Its a chicken and egg situation with UpRev and the 350z over here though. They obviously have a good product, but who is willing to test it with FI? Seems RS Tuning has someone with a supercharger, so we'll see how they get on. UpRev - why not post a thread in the welcome section to introduce yourself properly
  23. What would a pro detailler do differently though? They'd clay it out too! Just need to polish it out afterwards!
  24. OK guys. We normally try and park up on the row opposite the MLR (Evos), so if you get there early enough to get a space, thats the place to be
