    video editing

Premiere or Vegas are the best, but cost a sheeeeet load of money. Go for Windows Movie Maker
  3. Looking good Paul, always nice to see how far the car has come in your hands You young uns dont realise how long some of the oldies have been about
  4. Merry xmas everyone! No big pressies here this year, most of it is going into our trip to NYC in the New Year Although Amanda has succumed to the dark side and now has an iPhone. EDIT: Also merged the other MERRY XMAS thread with this one, you guys never give us a break
  5. Whoop whoop, nice one Andy and Fran, congrats
  6. Only problem with that is a set of them is about half the value of my whole car
  7. Another PR success for the Police there!
  8. There is a strip across the OEM bumper that this should sit on, then 5 or so U shape clips hold them in place. It should sit flush against the bumper
  9. Not too difficult...just need to be very slow and careful Good to know! Had flashbacks of fitting a wet nitrous system to an old volvo - there can be quite a bit of pressure in those lines!! I would guess thats why you de-pressurise it first Unless you found that out after you fitted it all
  10. Want to edit your first post then I'll edit my last post, it wont quite be as quick when you have to change gear mid corner! Any track where you dont have to do that, it will be quicker
  11. Is that mates rates? I was just interested in the auto for making my life easier, but still able to have some fun. Most of my life is commuting and the lightweight flywheel and heavy clutch in mine gets annoying sometimes, but hella lot of fun on the twisties. Guess I need to try the auto out in anger to see if its comprimised too much for me for the few days a year I might be out on track. I reckon you could still have fun in the auto which is the main thing, just it wont quite be as quick as the manual.
  12. Its a normal auto box, but souped up a bit to be quicker
  13. Yeah dont get them off ebay, our traders might be a little bit more expensive but at least you will get hubcentric spacers that wont wobble and if anything goes wrong, you have a comeback
  14. That'll be a bloody toonser! I look forward to your demonstration on the BBC of how to drive in these conditions, it seems that everywhere could benefit from it
  15. Well the specs seem ok, it runs iGo which is good. You'd need to get the UK/Europe maps for it though. Also the CPU of it seems awefully slow for running movies etc, so dont be supprised if it cant hack them. For £50 its probably worth a punt, just dont expect too much of it and you will probably be ok
  16. Make sure you send a letter too Bennet, and make sure its recorded delivery so you can track it. Emails tend to fall into interweb black holes when they are something like this, perfect excuse to say they didnt get it and do nothing about it
  17. Oh dear Stew, I've just seen a Micra in Aberdeen spinning its wheels like a mad man. Guess its not just down here that we have idiots No idea about studded tyres, but I think snow chains are definately allowed and not illegal.
  18. Very good question... Who knows what defines best
  19. No worries mate. Shame we didn't think to get some photos of the Evo pulling the 350 up the hill!! Was a good laugh though. Was certainly an experience! That tow rope will be permentantly in my car now just in case
