There is also a guide on here that details how to strip down and clean the motor. A few have reported good results of it. In no way take it to a dealer, they will just throw parts at it until it is fixed! The BCM is highly unlikely to be the problem and yes they are £500 from a dealer

Mine is positioned the same as Nixys. Not sure if the Halfrauds plates will have enough flex, I got mine off a member on here who ran a whole load off for the club and some show plates, forget the members name now

Dont write yourself off so soon -
Ditto, got another tenna off that as it was his open day, but they did a great job, before and after printouts and asked me how I wanted it set up. That was just with OEM geometry though, not lowered or anything. Felt brilliant afterwards
-
Thats what I'd assumed, hence I didnt know if you had it. Glad it worked though

Would love to. Do they do 350z/370z hire cars over there? Lumix are a very good camera, but as you say its very bright out where you are. If you look to get a new camera, try to get one that you can fit filters to and get a UV filter or polarising filter, should help cut a lot of it out

Thats a good question, I can do it via a Moderate link at the bottom of the image, do you have anything similar, an edit link maybe? Sure one of the men in red will be over soon to explain

You're past help. Hehe, I'll get my coat. No you're right

How does someone become a moderator?

Is that a general question (in which case my personal answer is no, they generally know what they are doing and do it very well) or aimed at Vik54 (in which case I'll let her answer)? agreed, mods know how the forum is running and voting a candidate on would only lead to possibly getting someone who is popular on the forum, but maybe not mature enough with the responsibility. its not easy remaining impartial and i have often noticed the mods stepping back and not being personal in a situation. Thanks Rich, glad someone apprciates the rock and hard place we are put between sometimes. We have seen a lot of mod potential, but its consistency and impartiality that can rule candidates out - and stepping back when needed - and we have to feel we as a team will all get on. Someone may show brilliant potential but then do something off hand which then rules them out, and I for one think we have quite a lot of female mod potential, but most arent around on the forum enough, although they are on more and more each day - so things may change. We're all human and just trying to do the best for the forum and we cant make everyone happy, especially with the growing demographic trying to cater for an ever more diverse community. Spot on Immy. If anyone would like to discuss it in more detail, please feel free to PM the mods. Contrary to popular belief we dont live on the forums and read every single thread, we cant, although I am sat here at 6:40am typing a reply as I get ready for work as I feel it deserves to be answered -
Wheres the setting, I couldnt find it. Could swear I had bottom right looks like >> Nice one

My comment wasn't aimed at that particular picture (which I actually found very artistic) - it was more the general levels of debasement some of the threads fall to at times from certain parties.... +1 - mine too was aimed at the level chat/spam making mods lives hard not the pic in question -

And we are on the lookout for anyone who meets the criteria. We have considered female members as mods but havent found one to meet all the criteria and spend enough time on the forum. When one does though, rest assured they will be offered the post -
No idea, it is a thick client, to keep the server side thin, so the client does most of the work. I would guess its caching all the chat. You can set it to cache less lines in the settings on the bottom right - I think by default it keeps everything. Might save a bit of space. Remember this is a cheap and cheerful chat solution, if we want to live on there, we need something like IRC and dedicated IRC clients

just voted for raj, didn't know it was a cross forum thing, i just liked his car He's a mate from the MLR, at the Reading meets with us all the time

Guys - please do some cross forum voting - Raj (no 3) needs your help on the Evo sides of things - http://www.totalevolution.co.uk/idol-evo-1.htm (if you think he's the best )

Ummm, really?! Thought we all had that Obviously this job is unpaid though Sorry that image was not removed before now, the post count today must be astronomical - I've been trying to keep pace much of the day - its like a fulltime (unpaid) job - just pm the team if something similar occurs and hopefully there will be quicker action. Its the usual issue of where peoples boundaries lie in their desire to have a bit of laugh and as we frequently see there is wide interpretation on that score that we too get wrong at times, as you know. +1 - this is why we struggle with all the Off Topic stuff, its just too much for us to read - and as you have seen first hand, its detremetal to the forum. -
Looks like the others have you sorted with the undertray options - Alex and Lee - so I'll just say

Anything is possible! Remember though this is a simple chat solution, not a full blown IRC channel. If we have enough interest for a proper chat solution, I will be more than willing to set up and IRC channel instead where we can do much more interesting things. Our web chat solution needs to be kept simple so to keep load on the server down. Your best option is a private channel. With regard to the slow speed also that I have seen mentioned, its built into the software to have a slight delay and not do everything instantly. Again, if we see a lot of usage, I dont mind setting up a proper IRC channel.

I had a kit to repair mine, but admittedly I recoloured it a completely different colour. It didnt hold up to well being black over the top of Alezan, but if you get a colour matched kit, it should work quite well. Best way is to get a sample off to them to colour match, take a little snippet off from under the seat

Nice one Amy, glad to see this all worked out in the end

That was my thinking too, have it in another tab and its easily accessible. It doesnt really suit being like Zclub due to its layout, so would take up too much screen for those that dont care for it. Maybe could be enabled as an option by users but it would be a lot of work and this place is so busy, we find it hard to find the time

From what I've seen of it (very few in my time) they tend to make themselves obvious as being pationate about the car and club, attend meets with us and generally give off a good vibe about the club. Normally they are also suggested by other members as being good for the role. The team then vote on whether to offer the position or not -
buddy, try to keep the finger off the button, its very tempting

Hi, my name is Sarnie and.............

Look it was only an idea that was been floated so please stop getting your knickers in a twist over something that as not been decided on yet. sorry mate having a shi**er of a day and let it spill over, apologies Yeah guys chill Its just an idea. We have loads of ideas that never come to fuition, I was just joking when I said it You have to realise this place is a massive balancing act, and as the demographic changes we struggle to keep up sometimes. While we want this place to be friendly and chatty, we need to at least keep it loosly related to the cars
