  1. Suggest we meet in the left hand car park (the opposite side to the petrol station)
  2. Some new and interesting features - launch control (although not called that) is now official (can watch in HD on YouTube)
  3. It'll be ATE fluid, and its meant to be blue If Abbey did it then its safe to assume they did it right too. Doesnt meant here arent any leaks though, so check around the hard lines and callipers
  4. TBH I think the Zed came off very well. It will have a lot of people thinking is it worth an exta £10k for an Audi or Porsche. I'd still have a Cayman S over a 370z if given the choice of either for free, but no way I'd pay the premium for it having driven both.
  5. Think its 4wd? Yeah 4WD, you wouldnt do that in RWD! That'll be the car they are taking rallying next year I guess, with the new regs and smaller engines?
  6. Who is going to try 35mm all round Pfff you wuss. We've had more than that. Ask anyone whos run the VS widebody kit
  7. +1 - although actually, you dont need (and should not) fully drain the fluid when changing the lines. You should bung the hard lines when you remove the flexible ones, which means that air does not get in the system, so when you then fully flush the lines with new fluid, its a lot lot easier. When changing pads the fluid level will rise as you force the fluid back to the master cylinder as the pads are thicker which means fluid is pushed back. Have a look at the levels. Its likely to be low brake fluid. Go and check all the connections between hard lines and the new braided ones, and also at the calliper. Could be loose connectors to the lines, or loose bleed nipples are letting fluid out.
  8. Just watched the end. Flying lap of Rockingham. Porsche and Audi were 2 sec a lap quicker, but Ben said the 370z was more fun. TBH, it was a fair review in what they said, but they were pitching 2 obviously better cars against the Zed. Would like to have seen a Boxster (not S) and a TTS against it and see how well it did then
  9. Just watching it on chase play. TBH, its the typical 5th Gear fair test - £36k 370z (7AT) vs £48 TTRS (6MT) vs £43k Boxster S (PDK). So far the from what I've seen, there was a handling test, where funnily enough the 4WD Audi won (by not a lot). Then drifiting, where Ben left the TCS on for his first run, then lost out out Jason by 0.5pt in his second run - where his drift looked better than the Porsche. Havent seen the final test, but if its anything like the other 2, there wont be much in it. So given the Zed is ~£10k cheaper than the competition, I think it did well

    My next car...

You guys who want a GTR for the road need to go drive one on the road If the Aston was reliable I'd take it over a GTR, much more fun on a Sunday blast, and impresses the Ladeees
  11. Radical will probably win. You could turn up in a Capraro T1 and give em a race
  12. Not the nicest way to fall into Zed ownership, but you are here now and everyone is very friendly. Just go easy on the "sprinkles" they do bite - and have been known to punch and kick too
  13. All very good advise. Make sure you have it valued properly and a proper report for insurance with pics. Amanda's ring is valued at over £1k more than I paid, purely because the jeweller that made it doesnt think she'd be able to get another pair of diamonds that flank the main stone that match as well as hers do.
  14. Looks like you came to the right place
  15. +1 - they look like that to me Dont look like anything I have seen around the rear hatch before.
  16. This was a month or so back Stan - keep up
  17. Thats what chat and the Green Room are for Plate looks good, reminds me of certain blue nismo plated Zed that used to be on these boards
  18. Say 8:45am? Its literally round the corner and opens at 9am. Dont see any point in getting there too early
  19. Admiral are good, always been the cheapest for me and the missus. I too have had the honour of Albany Assistance, and they werent particularly good - but they got the job done - which is good enough for me. And while they still cover you for mods (ie wont void the insurance) they will only replace with OEM. As most of us are aware though, OEM is normally more expensive than aftermarket, so not usually a problem
  20. As Ben is jumping in my car (look at us saving the planet! hah), I'll put him as my +1 rather than take a space 1. Chris`I (+MAD7BOY) 2. Darren-B 3. Ebized 4. glrnet 5.charlotte-sparkles 6. Purple&Black 7. iain10101 8. 9. 10.
  21. Interesting to know, good food for though, very tempted to bung some high flow cats on there while we're at it
  22. Yup, I'll be going in once they have it all sorted Mark: Have you had any in with Stillen Gen3 intakes and exhaust? From what I've been lead to beleive, Stillen played with the intakes to make it lean out the mixture, so when used with the exhaust its meant to give a near spot on AFR. Would be interesting to see if you've seen that or not
