It's a really good detector indeed. However, not everyone likes the safe list. Also there is still no laser detector add-on which was promised years ago. However, it's still fully undetectable for any radar detector-detector that the police uses. In Holland you're only allowed to use this detector with the GPS based warning. The real radar detector software is not allowed to be installed and used. Therefor all Dutch detectors only warn for GPS based speed traps. The only thing you have to do is download the UK software from the internet to have full detector service If the police would ever stop you to see if this is installed, with 1 push of the button you remove the software/erase the memory. So no tracks that you were using it illegally For +- 450 euro you can get the Beltronics 975 whiich has about the same detection range, but requires some modifications to make it undetectable for the police....

not worth to get the Bose though. It's really bad compared to any other audio system. So remove Bose from the list of reasons why you'd get a GT pack....

So anyway, does someone know how to get a Nismo zorst shipped to Europe without sponsoring the customs too much? You can get a exhaust for +- 890$ (mynismo), just afraid of the shipping cost + import duties.

I've been waiting 2 months now for a CF rad plate to arrive from Miami-GT :scare: The item would have been shipped early September. I investigated near the end of September what happened as I still didn't receive anything. I got a reply that it should have been received already and he would get back to me with a tracking number.... I've send an email beginning of this month to get the tracking number, still no reply....

Don't consider getting 19's, just do it!

Too bad it says Nissan on them.... I like to remove as much Nissan as possible from my car.

A Polish friend of mine decided to use his brandnew camera to make some clips from my 350Z. We did quite some driving, but it was difficult for him to hold the camera without shaking it all over the place . So the final little video doesn't show much driving, except for the last part in a tunnel . I know it's not that interesting, just though I would share. My car looks a little different at the moment with 19" volks and some minor cosmetic changes as this was filmed 3 months ago. I hope we can make a decent movie next summer. If you wonder how smooth some shots are, he's in a wheelchair so he can roll by

FYI, the car was brought to the bodyshop. They told the owner he was quite lucky as it was waxed recently and already some dirt was collected on the paint. Therefor the white paint couldn't attach properly to the bodywork. They ended up cleaning it all, removing 99% of the white paint. Just a few body panels (roof, fender and rear bumper) should be repainted to make it perfect again. Quoted from the owner on the 12th page of the topic: "Thanks again for all the interest and support. The one thing that is clear from all this is that you don't want to **** off a Z owner. I've had dozens of offers to come and kick this kids ass and I've even had a Special Ops guy (who owns a Z) email me and say that all he needed was a name and everything would be taken care of. No questions and no ties. You guys are awesome!"

Just a little update on my BOSE experience: They've replaced my HU 5 weeks ago and up to today it worked fine. It looked like a new one, as it was in mint condition. I'll check whether it was a repaired or a new one next week. However, today the problem occured again... No CD sound from the left speaker. After slamming on the side of the centre console it worked again, but not too happy about it. I think it's time to give up on the BOSE and go for aftermarket..... Probably the whole sytem will be replaced.

New 06 headlights are Bi-Xenon yes, the previous one is only a low beam xenon. I still have to see the new headlights in real life, on the pictures they look worse than the 03-05.

Don't like the bonnet either. For you guys with a 06, don't worry, it's not worth it to upgrade to a 07.
