  1. Must be horrible indeed to have people wandering around in your house. How come the neighbour didn't call you at the time? Didn't she have your phone number? You could have gone after them, although that might be a bit dangerous as well... People should stop taking other people's property!
  2. You'll be sorry after a few months!!!!! Buy a Z again As a roadster, it's definitely one of the best choices available. Let us know after some time how you compare the running cost/driving experience with you previous 350Z.
  3. Why did they pick this kit/SC out of all the good stuff out there? I think it looks horrible, maybe the specs of the engine are ok..... I'm curious how much they spend on the tuning so we can compare with other products available for the Z.
  4. I know this might not be so useful for you guys from the UK, but I thought it would be a nice comparison anyway...... Maybe some Dutch guys will think it's useful! I got my P2 service (30k km/20k miles) done in Maastricht, the Netherlands at Nissan Luxam. I didn't buy the car here but somewhere else, however this is the closest dealer around for me. As I also had some warranty work to be done, I combined this with the service. This is what they did including the price: -P2 service (including Nissan oil, didn't get Motul arranged on time): 200 Euro/ 130 Pound -Handbrake adjustment: Free -Removing twist from seatbelts: Free -Getting BOTH my rear axels fixed for the clicking sound (although you could only hear it from the driver side): Free -Bose left speaker problem, Radio on order: Free -Top layer of my leather driver seat starting to wear off a little, new cover ordered: Free So, total amount of money: 200 Euro or 130 Pound!!!!! I Think that's a pretty decent price! They also called me twice during the service. Once to ask whether I wanted them to replace the wipers and the front brake pads. I said I'll be planning to do that myself. Second time that they couldn't find my own oil that I wanted to bring, so I told them to use their normal oil. Also I could have gotten a replacement car straight away, but I didn't need any as I was on a trip for work by train anyway. The new Bose radio was ordered without even listening to the Bose system whether the left speaker really didn't work during CD mode and for the seat they made pictures which they send to Nissan. All in all, very happy with their helpfulness/friendliness and not trying to rip me off on the service itself. Although their quote for the brake pads was way to high: about 200 Pound for front pads + installation. One of the reasons I ordered yellow stuff now...
  5. Congratulations on a great car! I still take it easy during rain, especially as I'm still on the standard Pontenza's (for 2 more weeks). But otherwise, it's a extreme fun car to drive! Let us know how you think it compares to a TVR!
  6. Congratulations on one of the best purchases in your life I have mine now for 3 months, still enjoying her like I got here yesterday!
  7. Good luck with the no rain tonight. I came back from holidays on the first of August and we didn't have a single day without rain

I don't think the 03-05 Z has holes in the front???!?
  9. I must say the doors are really annoying. They only open in 3 'stages' or so. The first position of the door doesn't leave enough space to get out, the second does but is already really wide. Third is fully open. Anywhere in between, it falls back. So covering the walls is definitely not a bad idea. Maybe buy a Z roadster, just jump in and out
  10. Keep up the good work! Special thanks to all the good admins!

Go for a 350z, you won't be disappointed! The only issue most of us have is that some dealers are really annoying with cases under warranty and charging you way too much for labour etc. For the rest, you cannot imagine how many smiles it will put on your face driving a Z. I've never had so many people looking at my car than with the Z. So often thumbs ups from people, including small boys in the back of their parents car . Also people tend to forget to enter a roundabout for example as they're staring at your car!

Yes! Isn't it the best car manufacturer in the world, Citroen?

I prefer the car on the right to be honest...
  14. It's not possible for me either to put my arm on the window, without looking like a idiot. However, all my friends say that the windows are so small and high up when they're sitting inside my car. A real sports car feeling, they say. That makes it all good again
  15. Please post up your name if you want one 1. Mathys 2. 3. 4. 5. Hope the quality is as good as they look like on the pics!
  16. FYI, the HU is made by Clarion, not by Bose. They just put it on as a marketing tool
  17. Any cheap address to get those PIAA wipers, or only from the above mentioned website? Tnx
  18. Any news on getting the driver seat leather changed? I have exactly the same problem with mine, it has only done 15K miles and it looks worse than a 20 year old mercedes. The top layer (mines oragne) is starting to wear off, which I think is ridiculous.....
  19. My personal opinion with the roadster (driven it two days from a friend, also have experience with driving the new Boxter): -Exhaust noise might be nice, but there is a lot of wind noise as well. -Top down in the summer: great doing small trips, with long trips it gets annoying like hell. Also if it's really hot and you're in traffic, better have the AC on full to be able to survive the heat a little bit. -With the top down everyone can look into your car when driving by as the Z is pretty low, I felt way too 'naked' driving with the top down. -You'll be driving at least 80% of the time with the top up, so your car looks like sh*t at least 80% of the time..... -Boot is already small, why would you want it even smaller? -If you want to go to the track, IMO you need the coupe. -The resale value MIGHT be better, but you won't be able to sell it as fast as the coupe. A lot more people are looking for the coupe. -You should always garage your roadster, unless you get a hardtop for the winter. Don't know if they exist for the Z. -You won't really notice the difference that it's slower than the coupe in a straight line, but still is slower That's just my opinion, everyone probably has different experiences.
  20. Tnx guys for all the useful info over here!
  21. Don't hesitate to buy stuff from Richie as the quality is great! I have some parts from him waiting in the garage to be installed after I come back from holidays!!!

Unless you go with aftermarket rims
  23. Got 41 here! But no pic
  24. Just a small question about the claybar after reading all this stuff. Do you have to throw it away after using it once, ie can you use it multiple times? Is it better to divide into small pieces so you can throw them away after a treatment? And which tire dressing spray/..... do you use which doesn't go all over your wheel and gives it a nice ( not too extreme shiny) look for quite a while? Appreciate all your inputs in this thread, tnx a million!
