  1. Direct swap.... Take of the 3 bolt covers on the old lightunit, then remove bolts. Be a little careful with taking out the old one. You can see on the new unit how the plastic pins are lined up. Take off electrical connector. Clean the area now as you have easy access to it Connect the elctrical connector the new light unit. Install new light unit. Re-use old bolts and covers. Done! P.s., while you're taking off the light units anyway, replace the orange indicator bulbs with silver ones! You can access these via the gap after removing the light unit. find them here They do a set for the 350z, for front/rear indicators. If you want the side indicators as well, look at a pair of the 194/168 sizes.
  2. Tnx! Did you put a special clamp on the hoses or is there a clamp on them anyway to secure them with the plenum?
  3. Same wheels as I have . Hope these pics help. If you're thinking about upgrading to 06 LEDS, just do it! I've done it (kuro) and love them!
  4. Quite a good price. I got the lower part of the driver seat replaced under warranty. This only is 1000 Pound if you want to buy it from the stealer....
  5. I already have the door barrels produced by you guys. Will this set match the weave or is it slightly different?
  6. Was there any cooling liquid coming out of the 2 hoses underneath the throttle body? I want to remove my stock plenum as well to get it polished/chromed. However, will it be needed to refill the cooling system + removing the air??
  7. Maybe they're different on the GT4/35th anniversary. I know that the Z side emblems are different than the ones on a 'normal' Z....
  8. I've send them an email saying "Good luck with selling the car!". No reply so far :teeth: Who on earth would want to buy this car? I think the only option is a very low price, so the next owner can retrim the whole interior. I wouldn't mind a 996 Turbo for 25.000 Euro's
  9. I think they will look horrible on any colour except on a white Z which already has a blue/white colour scheme going on... Blue on Black
  10. Check out this 996 Turbo with 'design' interior. I might do the same to my Z..... For sale now if you really fancy it : http://auto.marktplaats.nl/porsche/71685544-porsche-911-turbo-design-uitvoering.html

    Ouch!!

I've read so many stories about crashed Z's and the driver gets away without major injuries all the time. The passenger however is a different story. I think about 50% of all self inflicted accidents was in wet conditions btw...

Check out these: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info ... a581f27c24 I had different ones before, but they started to flicker as they couldn't resist the heat of the main beam. These ones are very pretty and work well

Yeah, I don't recommend either going from the top. I tried and it really got on my nerves. Just take the wheels off and clean the inside straight away along with the brake calipers etc
  14. Davy, thanks again for the contact details. My exhaust is shipped already with some Nismo mats as well as they fit easily in the oversized box... Is there any kind of wax which is resistant to the high temperatures of the exhaust fumes, so I can protect the nismo exhaust? I'd like to keep it as shiny as possible....
  15. According to the Z lovers across the ocean, the bonnet doesn't look as bad in real life as on pictures. I hate the look of it as well on the pics, but it might be better in real life...
  16. I like the headlights! Owww, I see they are still the OEM ones

O yeah, don't forget to put a bright light on the working area when removing the fender protector. Otherwise you can't see all the screws etc and you'll get very annoyed (out of experience ).
  19. There might be room for the sets, but your shoes have to somewhere else
  20. 2 very recommended websites: www.polishedbliss.co.uk (very good guide + webshop) www.detailingworld.co.uk

Tnx for the compliments . However, it it due to these big pictures in the thread above that I'm not able to post any pictures at all any more??? It says I've exceeded my 2mb limit, but I thought this was a limit for each thread, not in general??? Srry for the off-topic...
  22. Richie sells it yes, but he has problems to get his own kit manufactured. I've ordered a kit like this a long time ago for +-450$ via Evo-r (partner of Richie) and still haven't received anything. There have been problems with the factory producing the kits. Instead, they both offer now the same RSW as shown above for +-550$. (www.equibs.com). However. they still hope to get their own kit made somewhere in the future. I'm still waiting to get their own manufactured kit as it's slightly cheaper and I'll be sure it's top quality...

You don't need to take the headlight out, but it ain't a 5 minute job: -Remove wheel -Remove plastic trim on front side (you can leave the rear side unless you want to change the blinker bulb on the side of the car). This is hold up with screws and the plastic clips, see attached picture. -You have now access to the back of your headlight where you can twist the bulb out and replace it. For high beam you have to remove the round blue cover which is a PITA to put back.

The new mini (not the very latest) and the toyota prius are the best if you're into the best resell value!
  25. What color is your Z? If you decide to retrim some parts or the whole seats, go for red! Black/grey is sooo sexy with red leather inside .
