  1. Just a bit, not enough to notice it I think. I was just trying to defend the 03-05 model
  2. Looks brilliant with the Nismo kit! Now just get some chrome indicator bulbs and your front look will be much cleaner!
  3. Check for any paint damage on the front bumper; unevitable but you can use it to bring the price down. Also check the seats for any serious damage. Ask for the service history.
  4. Did you drive around without the strut bar fitted? If so, any noticable difference?
  5. Off topic, but make sure they made a good installation along with a perfect tune! So you don't end up ruining your engine like some UK guys did the last couple of weeks.
  6. ^^^^^^ Less a sports car maybe due to the added weight to the 2006 model, less stiff clutch, speed sensitive power steering, more cupholders/storage space than a family car....
  7. I thought the HU should be ordered from Clarion, Germany? Anyway, in my case it took about 4 weeks before they got the new HU. Just a small question, did anyone here ever have to pay for the petrol used in the replacement car? (Got a Almera Tino, 1.8 115hp, so not too bad )
  8. When you need to replace the brake discs, shop around for aftermarket slotted ones. Look better and cheaper than OEM! For oil, I would even go for a 5W40. I ordered the Motul 300V 5W40 ordered from opieoils.co.uk. Motul is slightly better than amsoil, but is more expensive. You can sign up for an account to get special discounts, just have to mention your forum and user name. I got EBC Yellow front brake pads for roughly 80 Pound delivered from brakes4u.co.uk. Discount available as well. Front head light.... Why would you need to replace this? I can understand you might want to upgrade to '06 lights, although I wouldn't spend the money on it. 06 Rear LED lights are highly recommended though! Instead of the Nismo air filter, get the K&N one. Cheaper and if it would make a difference, this one is better. Regarding service prices, it seems to be worth it to shop around a little! To save money, don't let them do anything you can do yourself like replacing brake pads. Ask the dealer about the extended warranty price. Don't know if it's possible to do it by an independent company in the UK?

It took 2 persons to get the bridgestones off from the 18" rays when I was switching them for winter tires. Tire fitter told me he had never had to handle such hard tires in his life before....
  10. Ok, here you go: http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l305/mattemathijs/350Z/ As you can see, the clearance for the front brembo's is like 8mm Edit: Hope the link works like this or should I link every single picture seperately?
  11. Srry, 2MB attachment limit exceeded. Pm your email address if u like and I can send some more to make it clear that I do have centre caps
  12. Mine was fixed as well 6 weeks ago, but I think I hear it clicking again on some occasions . It will only click once though, not like the old days with a bunch of clicks driving away. Not happy it comes back, did anyone get complete parts replaced or just the bolts/grease etc. ? Fyi, it was done on both sides. At least, that's what they told me...
  13. Keep the stock (35th anniversary) wheels, but an upgrade of tires would be a good idea!
  14. Prices would be nice... I'm interested in the Battery and fluid covers
  15. Thanks for all the positive words! These wheels cost me including shipment/tyres/balancing 4500$, add some customs and you won't make it with 5000$...... Ah well, you only live once
  16. I decided to upgrade my 18" Rays to 19" Volk Racing GTS rims. I'm keeping the 18's for the winter, just fitted some Dunlop Wintersport M3 on them in stock sizes. First I looked around a bit on my350z and eventually Status Auto Design was the cheapest for me. They could also supply the wheels with tyres and balance them. So I got GTS 19X9.5 +17 in front with Goodyear F1 GSD3 255/35/19 GTS 19X10.5 +18 in rear with Goodyear F1 GSD3 275/35/19 The ride comfort is as good or better like the standard setup. The goodyears are really nice tyres, not as hard as the Bridgestones. The fitter from the wintertyres required an extra person to get them off the rays! Got some pictures, not really high quality. At least you get an idea how it looks....
  17. Maybe the dealer would be able to adjust the loudness of the beeps. I normally have the stereo on at a decent sound level when reversing, so I can hear them easily. Like mentioned above, the beeps will get faster until a constant beep sounds. This means you have about 1 foot left.
  18. I use it as a daily driver and I think the running cost is pretty low. Petrol is quite a big amount of money each month, but even a Kia Carnaval V6 (or something like that) has a worse fuel consumption than my Z! I do go to the main nissan dealer every 10k miles, just for the check and oil. Anything else, like brakes/wipers/tyres I replace myself which keeps the cost down. Prices for new brakepads are ridiculous here at the main dealer, so well worth it to do it yourself! I used to own a '99 Rover 200D and normal maintance would cost me 30% more compared to the 350z..... I don't have any finance on the car, just a yearly insurance fee of about 800 Pound. I'm 21, so the car is on my father's name. No issues here with insurance companies if younger people drive it
  19. ^^^^ Good choice! PMed my msn, add me and we can talk about the Z. Also I would like to see the 2005 Coupe with nismo kit in the showroom in Aachen!
  20. I almost sure the wheels are from Cobra, model CN4. http://www.cobra-sor.com/
  21. Yes, same (maybe even better) than stock and looks 10x better
  22. Hey, what's your location? I live in Lanaken, Belgium. Working in Maastricht. More people have just bought the nismo spoiler without the bodykit. It's all a matter of personal taste. Just upgrade the parts you like with leaving the rest standard. A good hub centric spacer shouldn't be a problem, but I would stay away from them. No good reason, it just doesn't seem right to me to put one on. And yes, it might effect your suspension as if you get a wide spacer. I have parking sensors (Black Z) and I love them. On my car they're hardly visible and I couldn't do without them. You can ask everyone here that the 350Z has quite some blind spots to deal with when reverse parking etc. These sensors help out a lot! For pictures on a gun grey Z fitted with PDC, send this guy an email: leon.jehae@zonnet.nl. He lives in Sittard and he's selling his 2004 gun grey 350Z right now. Maybe he has some close-up pictures of the rear.
  23. That would be enough space for me to get the Z out. No problem J/K. Was there any damage already to the bumper? And how much space was there in front between your Z and another car? Maybe one of your friends has a forklift truck so you can get the polo out and dump it in a river somewhere!
  24. I see you guys like the snakelike paint job as much as I did
