  1. I can't believe they still sell the 07 models with the 5 year old Rays alloys. They're definitely an improvement over the OEM 17/18" multi spoke rims, but I think they could have done a much better job at developing premium alloys...
  2. I paid in total a little over 18 Pound for chrome indicator bulbs front/rear/side. That is the 350Z complete set + a set of the 194/168 bulbs for the side. All the prices are including shipment, for me it came to Belgium .

    She's here!!!

Looks stunning! Be ready to wash your car even more often than a black one, well at least during winter. Friend of mine has a 335ci in black and a 120d in white, says the 120 is a real pain to keep clean. More than the black one
  4. I used this website several times, free shipping. They do a combo for the Z. www.silverbulbs.com

    Wheelwax

    I quite like this one: http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/index.php ... rers_id=22
  6. With OEM front bumper and 19" I might have hit the little plastic spoiler on a couple of occasions when going way too fast on big bumps. However, in general the car is fantastic over speed bumps. Faster than a average car in my opinion (not talking about S class with air suspension etc.)
  7. Nice set of wheels. Friend of mine has them as well on the Z. Same tyre size as well I think.
  8. You also risk to get more vibration into the steering wheel, that's what I've been told...
  9. On a MY07 I would probably go for the white ones as the headlights don't have the orange strips anymore. On my 04 I used to have the dark orange ones as it went nicely along with the brembo brakes and headlights.
  10. I like them! I used to have them on the oem grill, now I won't need them with the Nismo V2 bumper;)
  11. I'm afraid you'll have to keep the 07 model a bit longer than 8 weeks as there isn't any newer Z out there yet....
  12. Looks good! To finish it off, paint the orange ends of the strut bar as well in your green...

    Bike Rack

Seems to be a good solution. If you only need to transport your bike a few times a year, rent a car or borrow a friend's car...
  14. My shiftknob was heavily worn after some 20.000 miles as well. Looking for a replacement. The nismo's look very nice, but want something comfortable. Don't know if they are?
  15. I got the driver seat completely renewed due to premature worn leather. Mind you, this is in Holland. Sorry, can't find the pics.
  16. Bad fuel? A friend with his 335ci had a similar problem, because he always went to a dodgy little fuel station with cheap fuel. Now he refuels at Total and no problems anymore.
  17. I'm going for the 255/285 combination, 35 ratio though. I think the chassis was ok. They're just replacing everything which might have suffered from the impact, including parts from the steering column etc. As it all goes via the original Nissan stealer, the insurance is paying sh'tloads
  18. For the alarm, I think you have to hold the button for a while. I'm sure someone can answer this with certainty. You have 2 normal keys and 1 valet/garage key. The last one doesn't provide access to the storage room behind the passenger seat.
  19. I decided to go for the 285/35 in the rear. However, with my offset I definitely have to get the fenders cut/rolled. Having +18 as offset doesn't help keeping the tyre away from the fender . Obviously I'll keep the current type of wheels. I've set my mind for the moment on the KW3. I've read more reviews and they are much better for daily driving than the Tein Flex>> Like Phil said Regarding the colour, I've seen this and this : it looks very nice. However, you'll never know how it really looks under normal light circumstances. Also if it isn't done properly, it will look like you got a spray can yourself and the car is covered by a layer of dust... It would definitely be unique and not a standard black car I thought about selling the car and getting the new M3 coupe. However, the attention and remarks made by people about the Z is not easy forgotten. In Holland they've sold like 650 350Z's till now, so it's a rare car! Also I've spent alot of money already on it, so plan on keeping it for a couple of years.
  20. I didn't have a scratch. It was a little crash indeed, just with a lot of damage. No airbags went of or anything, as it was relatively low speed. Total damage, for insurance, 10.000 Pound
  21. I've been looking at those, so most likely will get a colour/finish from them. Hope it will not turn out to be extremely expensive.
  22. I was looking at the KW 3 before, but some people said it was to harsh for daily driving. The Tein would be a bit more forgiving at bad road circumstances. I guess each has it's own preference, which makes it so difficult to choose...
  23. About 10 days ago, I managed to damage my Z. Especially the left front suspension and my wheels were badly damaged. What happended: Driving back from the movies around 10 pm, entering a roundabout. Wanted to take the first exit, taking it with normal speed. I already turned towards the right. As the roundabout was really badly lit, I only spotted a little platform dividing the left/right lane of the exit road at the last moment. Unfortunately, the roundabout wasn't made of asphalt, but of these stupid slippery concrete plates. So I could steer in as much as I wanted, no grip whatsoever till I hit the normal asphalt of the exit road. This was to late to prevent me hitting the platform at a speed of roughly 30/40 mph sideways. Obviously the left side of the car didn't like this too much, so I ended up unable to drive any further . Some pics: So now I need to replace my wheels + tires. As I don't like the idea of new tires on the left and worn ones on the right, I'll get some Michelin PS2's this time allround (Eagle F1's before). Q nr 1: 275/35/19's in the back like before (look a little stretched) or 285/35/19's..... Maybe the PS2 will already look less stretched in 275/35 than the F1's do? As some body panels got damaged and need to be replaced/resprayed, I decided to get the whole car resprayed. I had some bad paint damage on the roof and some scratches all over, so a good time to get rid of them. Of course insurance won't pay for a full respray, so I'm paying an extra sum to get it done. Q nr 2: I want to go for Metallic Black this time instead of the nonmetallic SB. Any advice which colour I should take? I guess most of the metallic blacks are similar (bmw/nissan etc). I hope to get some extra silver metallic flakes in the clearcoat, so it will look a bit different than just ordinary black metallic. Q nr 3: It would be a waste not to use this opportunity to add a bodykit. I don't want to get an extreme one, just a little different than oem. I'm thinking of a veilside rear end, some Nismo/veilside/central 20 sideskirt and maybe a Nismo V2 front bumper. Any suggestions which will look good in black? Q nr 4: As I want to get my fenders rolled/cut in the rear, I want to get a decent suspension. I'm thinking EDFC with Tein Flex or Tein .... ?? Thanks for any input!
  24. Did you get the measurements? I can get them for you when I'm at my parent's place again, end of next week. If you still need it.
  25. Sorry for the late reply, but the most I managed to do is 163 mph. This was on a long flat straight piece of highway in Holland, original 18" rays. My car is limited as the 163 is probably a real 155 mph or even a bit less.
