  1. Sorry, my post probably wasnt very clear. I LOVE TUBO cars Always have done, since i was 15 and drove a Scooby prodrive on a beach lol Its just on mini's that i think the S/c just 'fits' the car. But i could be pleasantly surprised once i drive the new turbo S. Plus the tuning options for the new mini could be huge once some of the big players get to grips. But the FWD system is a limitation when you really up the power imo
  2. Personally, and having had the s/c mini, i'd much rather have a s/c than a turbo. Something about the whine of the s/c that was much 'mini esq' for last gen mini. Ah well time will see
  3. We need Mings input on this! I know hes not traffic but surely can help. Start up the Ming light!
  4. And once it is you might here me from all the way up here in bonnie scotland where i now reside!
  5. Is my Invidia N1 and high flow cats gonna break the rules?
  6. Scary biscuits, and yet more ammo to my 'I'll never set foot in one of those things' stance!

    Mamma Mia!

With Sarnie on this one. The car looks terrible and dated and have you seen the interior of these things? Plus, what 6-7k to add FI to a Z and you have a seriously quick stylish car. To be honest looks and being different is one of the reasons i want a Z rather than a STI impreza.
  8. Offer him £15.3 and be prepared to walk away. Jap cars are sitting and hard to shift at moment. If you want i can throw you a link to a UK GT car sunburnt orange which i think £16.5 ->£16.8 would buy. Its 03 as well with 30k miles if i remember correct. Godd luck with hunt Aaron
  9. Was very shocked when heard the news. I know the show has its critics, but i personally love it. Best wishes to him and his family for a speedy recovery.
  10. Sorry to hear about it mate, worst thing to happen. Its bad enough to damage something yourself, but for a tosser to do something outta spite is just ***%^d up.
  11. And that right there is the crux of matter for me always on cars Im never prepared to take that hit for someone else i can barely hold onto any car more than a year. But i am Irish and tight as a ducks arse, so bear that in mind!
  12. I class it as a conversation piece Go on then, converse! Well according to the bumph its going to make my Zed the fastest on the planet... wll I think thats what it claimed Can I sue if it's not?? Nah, you must be wrong, only go-faster stripes can do that!!!! Where do I buy em??? i'd imagine someone of Sarnie's impeccable taste could point you in right direction!
  13. Very true, interest rates are hitting market at moment. But the good cars always have a plateau, when their residual values remain high, and then eventually they start to tail off. I believe the Z was on that trend before the rate hike. I myself timed my last move, and with a bit of luck got out of my mini just before they started a very steep slide. Held onto it as long as i felt i could before the new model started to negatively impact residuals. My decision to bail out and let a dealer buy my car for good money has proved completely justified, as same dealer has offered my mum, who's car was indentical bar colour and a year newer, slightly less than i got for mine. Anyways, none of us are making money playing with cars so its all really irrelevant anyways! Aaron
  14. Agree with you mate, the Z's are on a slide atm in terms of resale value IMO. Great for me Good luck with your hunt! Disclaimer - To all Z owners who feel residual values are not on a slide, such is perogative and right. The opinions i express are my own and based on my own research and monitoring of UK prices! That should stop the whine surely?
