yeah but he's got a PARACHUTE! and dirty underwear
  3. Sorry to hear that, I thought your car looked great in the Gumball photos. I understand its a PITA but noooooooooooooo!
  4. Split, Croatia. Split is a region in Croatia
  5. That list does not give the addresses, so I am having to find the data myself I can produce a file suitable for most SatNavs so yes I'll do a TomTom one. I also have one for the Nissan stealerships so I'll post them up when they are both updated. (my Nissan one does not cover Scotland yet and I dont want a lynching from Jim)
  6. not without a chemical analysis Dont be so cynical of course they put your oil in Lomoto is absolutely correct. ..... but, the poor mans version. Take a sample of your oil and some fresh magnatec. Place the samples in some narrow glass phials (or test tubes). Stick them in the deep freeze overnight. Once chilled the fully synth oil should still flow readily (your sample and the fresh magnatec should flow at similar speed). Cheap mineral oil should thicken significantly at sub zero temperatures and flow much slower than your "control" sample of magnatec. but as Lomoto says, I'm sure they put your oil in.... and the above is far too much effort, unless you are paranoid.
  7. And here is the very list! http://www.greenergy.com/products/99_octane_locations.html
  8. Afraid so, they have it at something like 75% of them, dont have the article to hand with the exact figure. I have been trying to find a list of them (which I will then turn into a POI for the satnav.....)
  9. take a feed from the door lock solenoid perhaps?
  10. I take it you didnt see me then, black coupe going the opposite way?
  11. Hey Chris, I paid Thursday, but your list does not seem to reflect it. Would you check your account please.....
  12. Green Energy uses biofuels (about 5% in Tescos), its this component that helps boost the Octane rating. Biofuel is about 5p more a litre than standard petrol, but the taxman offers a 10p a litre tax break on it. This is what allows Tesco to be very price competative...... Just for intrest This would appear to be an on topic post. BAN ME! BAN ME!
  13. Look in the opposite direction or pretend you have not seen me. Thats what every other Zed I have spotted has done. Begining to think its me! Maybe I should have bought a custard, rust coloured or purple one to make sure people see me.....
  14. Not much luggage space in the Zed, gues I'll have to turn my pants inside out!
  15. Sounds like a plan is afoot..... I'll go anywhere so long as its twisty.
  16. Looks like a stunning trip! an ideal run for a group trip for next year perhaps Afraid your route misses most of the places I have stopped over so cant offer much, sorry
  17. Thanks for that, I'm off shopping
  18. If you click on that link and select the body kits section so actually navigate to here http://www.garagegt.com/shop/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=19053 Does anyone know what these wheels are? I want them
  19. There was a guy on the news tonight, turned up with the £5500 cash and was "separated" from it by the cunning use of a gun! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/5294882.stm
  20. Strange indeed. From what you describe I assume this must occur when you change gear??? (as if you lifted of normally and didnt dip the clutch the engine would continue to run anyway being driven by the wheels if you like and so would not drop below idle). So, thinking through whats happening when it occurs(if my assumption is correct above), and also that you have changed *nothing* else. TPS is telling the ECU there is zero/minimal throttle, this is normal. I'm not familiar with the kit but I assume it exploits some ram air advantage, the ECU *may* now be receiving a signal telling it that there is significant cool intake airflow but this is in conflict with the TPS requesting minimal throttle. The ECU might be cuting the injectors as a result but I'd be surprised if it did this to the extent that the engine cut out as the lambda sensor would then start to indicate it had drifted from stoichiometric ratios. When you say the engine cuts, what exactly happens??? Do you slot into another gear hit the throttle and it picks up again?? Or is it misfiring? is it consistent? does it happen all the time? at all temperatures (engine and ambient). Is there any time it does not happen?
