    Awesome, congrats Alex
  2. Thank f--k for that! Finally, the voice of reason! I wonder how many people here would be so diplomatic is this happened to them! If they enter my house and threaten my family, I'm going to act first and think later, simples. But, to reduce the chance of this happening, my doors are locked! Just because you shouldn't have to lock your doors doesn't suddenly make it the wrong thing to do. Who know's, i could possibly have been the victim of something like this in the past; a scrote could have seen the Lambo on the drive and try his luck to see if my door is open. I want to protect my family and property, therefore my door is locked and said scrote moves on to the next target. Leave my doors open as you suggest we should be able to and now I've a scrote in my house............
  3. It's not inviting someone in, it's just bloody common sense. This isn't the 60's any more. Nah your talking bollocks mate. Nope, your the one talking bollocks.
  4. Rich, You must live in a leafy backwater village! When you live in birmingham, you NEVER go to bed with the door unlocked
  5. Pretty sure the second guy is carrying the crowbar. I never understand why people have those front doors that you can open from the outside without a key??? When I had the Lambo the Mrs made me spend about £3k on an alarm and a door and frame so thick it looks like it came off a Banks vault......even the police and their 'Red Key' couldn't smash it in.....apparently
  6. The whole 5% deposit contribution is a bit of blind. The majority of mortgage lenders just ignore it and reduce the purchase price accordingly, so rather than actually getting a deposit contribution all your getting is a lower purchase price.....
  7. Bud I was just about to email you, I've got details of one in Norwich but waiting their call back. The mortgage team work with the builders and it's all happened sooo quickly I've not really had time to step back from it and look around for alternative brokers etc. So definitely not ideal. Mortgage is with Halifax and I'm having to rent my current house out as nil equity but they seem to be happy to take an estate agents letter confirming rentable value. Happy to talk to you about life cover and house insurance if you like? Ooooh single tie advisors they sound like eg they farm every single application through one lender irrespective of if there is anything else out there cheaper I'll drop you a mail now
  8. I know a good Conveyencer, but completing by end of June is going to be nigh on impossible. Searches can take an age, even when it's all done and dusted, the solicitor will have to request the funds which in itself can be five working days! I've worked to some very tight deadlines but considering there are only 11 working days left of the month, you've got no chance. I know a decent mortgage broker too I could get it done quick but not in eleven days
  9. Shame this didn't happen a few weeks ago, i wouldn't have minded him at Liverpool
  10. Very strange.........why do Spurs now think they are better than Harry Redknapp??
  11. Spot on Jim. I think it's if you have less than a year or there abouts left you can go DD. No other way to avoid it as its a fixed percentage of your monthly. And Rich, you should be declaring that second income on you tax return then SLC will take the extra from you +1 Student loan deductions are based on EVERY source of income. Once you breach the threshold, it will automatically be deducted at source. If your main income takes you over the threshold then any other income will automatically attract further payments, that's if your informing HMRC about the extra payments via a self assessment if your not PAYE. Chris, suck it, you agreed to the T&C's when you took the loan, now pay it back
  12. Clutching at straws there mate
  13. That seems low as a starting price for a 313 roadster with only 10k miles, looking on autotrader similar specs are asking just under £15K. Hard to say though without full info and pics, we don't even know if it's a UK car. I think your both way too high! Jamie Moy has had his car up for sale for months and his is newer with less mileage. Think it is currently for sale at £12,995................

I suppose it depends just how much this car is going to be integral to your life I suppose.......an RS4 will be seriously quick, sound amazing and be well under budget. If the car is going to be used reguarly then defo go with 5 doors.....

If thats the case then forget the M6, 3 doors ain't gonna cut it long term. M5 is your best bet. Amazing car but, personally, it's a bit ugly. I'd be heading straight for an 06 RS4 for about £18k

What do you mean by 'family'? What exactly do you want from the car?
