  1. Often do you use 100% of the power? All the time, i am 23 And thats why Insurance is so expensive for the rest of us
  2. Often do you use 100% of the power?
  3. I read about 40 pages of it in one sitting and deemed that enough for the time being but not revisited it since
  4. Have you painted your car green??
  5. And its actually on a 52 plate...................so it's possibly one of the oldest zeds in the world.........for MY07 money
  6. Absolutely love the colour though. It's an almost perfect match for Verde Ithica which is Lambo green. Love it The rest of the car including the price is bonkers however
  7. Of course not but the number of people who have ever owned a 350z and ONLY put in super won't be anywhere near 99%. Therefore as a huge number of people will have used 95ron fuel, and still there is only one known case of a blown engine, it's unproven therefore if it's unproven; it's scaremongering. I ran 95ron in both of my zeds, and they are still going strong
  8. I have no idea what your talking about
  9. That explaination was exactly what I was thinking in my head but I didn't want to post it incase it offended you
  10. Whats actually annoying is seeing a load of people who arent really quite sure what they are on about giving advice on an issue that they arent sure about either. Having lost engines to detonation myself, and knowing theres no way of telling what damage has already been caused I definitely wouldnt be risking the £3K+ repair bill if something is going to drop. People still bang on about clicking axles like they are the antichrist, but what actually happens with them? Your axles click, big deal. Ive just lost an SR20 bottom end because a ring broke up, probably from damage caused before I put the engine in my car, certainly not from me running it, but hey, its not as bad a as few clicks at low speed is it? Guess what as well - SR20's also have knock detection but for some reason it didnt seem to work in this case, like it didnt on the EJ20 and CA18 Ive also lost through detonation. All Im saying is go in with your eyes open, manufacturers dont tend to reccommend a higher octane fuel just for a chuckle. Chances are the engine would be fine, hell, Id probably even bet on the fact you wont see problems but if someone openly admitted using the wrong grade of oil youd walk away, wouldnt you? How relevant is you losing three engines that are not 350z engines? None. Until there are hundreds of 350z engines going pop through detonation, as opposed to one that we actually know of, then it's scare mongering.
  11. It's me AsianUk. Changed name as this is more appropriate to describe me How many name changes!?!?!? Why is this more appropriate??
  12. Send an email to that email address and I guarantee you will recieve emails from Nigerian Prince's promising you many Nigerian camels in exchange for your Paypal log in details
  13. ^This. Why would you embed a dodgy msn email address into your photo? And why would a private seller have a 0843 number??
  14. I can't believe people are saying walk away from a car that the owner has said that he has used SOME 95ron fuel, especially at such low mileage. Unless you've owned your car from new, you have no idea what it has been ran on, full stop. Never mind how it's been driven. I'd be MUCH more concerned about Price, Condition, Mileage, Service History, Clutch, Tyres and brakes. In that order. I wouldn't even bother asking what fuel the owner has run it on, as the answer is largely irrelevant unless you can be provided with some sort of a graph to show how it's been driven whilst on 95ron. All this scaremongering is bloody annoying. There has been one reported issue of piston failure on a high mileage 04 car, this does NOT mean all 350z's are going to blow up. High Octane fuel is recommended, not mandatory. The oil consumption on the rev up engine was a MUCH bigger problem that affected a HUGE number of cars, but people don't seem care about that.
  15. I'd hoped the holes were missile launchers
  16. Who is this Husky person???
  17. You could, but many don't, and even then thats yet more yellow.
  18. It was the car that came with the 296bhp rev-up engine a full year before it was seen in the MY06 car! GT4's were launched in Feb 05, the MY06 cars came out approx May 06. So not really sure what bits Nissan were getting rid of? ok so i might not have shifted old stock but they sold them as the GT4 it got the new engine a year early and some new wheels and they only sold it in black or yellow. and they stuck a badge on it. and sold it with a playstation as special editions go, i never thought it was that special; they could have done so much more with it. and they didn't even keep the wheels exclusive as they bunged them on a load of end of line stock to sell them off as the zed was going out of production. In my opinion, the only genuine limited edition GT4's are the Ultra Yellow's, as at least the colour was limited. I never undertood why anyone would buy a Kuro GT4?????
  19. Add a female driver? How much is his car worth? If its not worth a lot, perhaps consider TPFT as a last resort? The drop in premium might be more than his car is worth therefore if he writes it off he could theoretically replace it with the premium he saved?
